Storms, Droughts And Floods Will Intensify With Global Warming, Gov't Report Says
- If ALL the greenhouse gases were stacked to the height of a ten story building, man''s contribution would be the height of the linoleum on the first floor. And you want to spend trillions of dollars when people are starving to try and cut that in half? Geniuses all!! It''s been shown repeatedly over the last six months that to use CO2 to control global temperature for even a few degrees we would have to remove ALL CO2 ending all life. H2O is the largest, Methane is more then 20 times the green house gas then CO2.

- The following is an excerpt from A Peer Reviewed paper by James A. Peden.
It sums up approximately how much CO2 GW forcing we can expect from CO2.
"the entire atmosphere isn''t composed of CO2. In fact the current concentration in the atmosphere is only about 380 parts per million. It''s what we call a "trace gas". So how much heat can our trace amounts of CO2 actually absorb? The math is simple: 8% ( or .08 ) x 380 PPM ( .000380 ) = .0000304, or about thirty millionths of the radiated heat.
Bear in mind, that''s the maximum permissible absorption by all of the CO2 presently in our atmosphere. Man''s percentage contribution is currently at about 3% of that. Now, let''s see what the "man-made" contribution ( 3% of the total ) is. Again, multiply .0000304 x .03 = .000000912 . Let''s round that up to the nearest single number and just say,
Man-made CO2 cannot physically absorb more than one-millionth
of the radiated heat (IR) passing upward through the atmosphere.%u201D - Reply to this comment

- terrorislami is a complete fool. An example of what happens when you become brain-dead from too much FOX News and zero real, factual information.

- Back to exterminating humans, would you be willing to jump in the pod yourself so that others could enjoy more resources? Just a thought.

I agree with your post; limiting children by law is not an unreasonable law, regardless of what crackpots will otherwise claim. They are indeed the same sorts of crackpots that say "Everyone else: die." Your response is very apt. - Reply to this comment
- Last I heard on the radio, yesterday morning, Al Gore''s personal energy bills have risen 10%. Given that he can spend more in a month than most of us spend in ONE YEAR, never mind his apparent slowness on Apple''s board, maybe he thinks it''s not really a problem at all? Seems to be quite a hypocrite at this point that nobody should be taking him seriously anymore.

Maybe it IS a concern, but he''s one of the biggest blabbers but with his wealth, his inability to follow through is pretty obvious. Sorry. - Reply to this comment
- Extermination of massive numbers of humans will alleviate the shortages and maybe even lead tp a good - if lonely - life for a few elites. Do you think you will be one of them?

And how would you go about exterminating a massive number of humans? Put them all in a tank, close the doors and fill it with gas so that they all suffocated? How would you decide who lived and who got gased? Pretty heil er, um, well what''s his face attitude I think. How about instead of exterminating all these humans we do what China did and limit the number of children per family? I think for a long time that has been pretty effective for them, even though they are still one of the most populous countries in the world. Back to exterminating humans, would you be willing to jump in the pod yourself so that others could enjoy more resources? Just a thought. - Reply to this comment
