- Christians are supposed to get ridiculed and slandered and attacked like you do all the time. Just like Christ was attacked and hated, so are His followers...

- Just utilizing my free speech to speak out against these athiests who continue to try to push their agenda. That''''s America baby. The Creation is already explained in the Bible.

The only atheist "agenda" is to fight against religious beliefs being forced upon others. - Reply to this comment
- No need to argue God''''s creation, because His awesome power is far more than our tiny human brains can comprehend.

Speaking for yourself, of course.

- Libagenda,
I love bringing out the Catholic (and Espiscopl, Lutheran, etc) school argument, b/c it exposes fundie Christians as the intolerant bigots they truly are.
Secondly, I see your answersingenesis and raise you mountains of actual scientific data. As far as your other assertions are, you have officially proved that ID is nothing more than an attempt to teach funamentalist Christianity in public schools.
BTW, Ben Stein is Jewish. Do you hate him too? - Reply to this comment

Then why have you been doing it. Isn%u2019t it the whole point of Creationism to find naturalistic explanation for events described in the Bible?

Nice dodge!!
If this is the case, then all the priests, pastors, rabbis, imans, monks, etc that claim to know what God is thinking can shut up. - Reply to this comment
- imfinster, yea I saw that commentary too. Poor kids. I understand his sympathy but he seems to disregard the fact that there was illegal *** with minors going on there on a widespread basis. And he of course things it is OK to tell children "the way things are".

Poor Mormons. If they had more political clout (like the Christians!) they could simply get the law changed to allow their religious beliefs. - Reply to this comment
- Doesn''''''''t living in a galaxy that is 100,000 light years across disprove a 6,000 or 10,000 year old creation? What about the distance to the next galaxy, Andromeda = 2.4 million light years? Are all the scientists that do these calculations lying or just plain wrong?

It even worst then that, some Creationist will try to argue that GOD simply created the stars with their light already reaching us. If this where true objects greater then 10,000 light years away would appear static. Because the light from an even such as a super NOVA would not have reached us yet. However that%u2019s not what we see.
The only possible conclusion then is that the universe is at least as old as the most distant object we can see. Unless of course you believe GOD is a great deceiver. - Reply to this comment

- Or 50,000 at least...but what about the other galaxies even beyond that which we can now see? They are much further even. LOOOOOL.

Wow, I have never even thought of that. All the stars we see are before creation by billions of years. LMAO. - Reply to this comment

Regardless, Ben Stein seems to have gone wacko. All his financial predictions have been wrong, I saw where he criticized the govt for removing the children from that horrible Mormon compound in Texas, now this film. - Reply to this comment

- "Sorry to upset your status quo. But if you want to believe in Darwin, that''''s your right. A vast majority of astonauts are Bible believing Christians however and know after going to space that the earth and this magnificent universe did not simply pop into existence by pure chance and accident."
Libagenda,
I am sure that there are Catholic, Lutheran, Methodist, Jewish, Muslim, Hindi, etc astronauts that believe in a creator. Notice how I did nothing to refute belief in a creator; you simply state that someone who does not believe in creationsim is an evolutionary athiest. I learned about evolution, continental drift, a billions year old earth in a CATHOLIC school. You can be a Christian and believe in evolution; you just can''t teach biblical concepts in a science class.
Also please address the topic I mentioned. Doesn''t living in a galaxy that is 100,000 light years across disprove a 6,000 or 10,000 year old creation? What about the distance to the next galaxy, Andromeda = 2.4 million light years? Are all the scientists that do these calculations lying or just plain wrong? - Reply to this comment

- LOL. Who witnessed him receiving the "golden tablets?"
LOL
LOL LOL
Come on let this wittle Christian brain go eat so he can feed his teeeny weenie little stomach.
Posted by libagenda
Go ahead and go eat, I should go to bed. But I do not get it why you discount that (11 people signed testimony saying they saw the golden tablets), and you totally except things about people walking on water. The question I would maybe most like to know is what exactly is it that makes you believe all this. Is it an inner-feeling like what the mormons told me the other day? Did you ask God if it was correct and then got a gut-feeling? - Reply to this comment
- Religion isn''''t even mentioned in the film bud. There''''s even an agnostic scientist in the film who believes in Intelligent Design.

Really? Then god is not the Intelligent Designer intended by the movie? Geez rick, at least be honest. - Reply to this comment
- I may see it, definately would not pay for it. It is an embarrassment to our country. And as an American living in Germany I find it incredibly naive and offensive to try to blame the holocaust on Darwin. Or Satan for that matter. The blame belongs with the Germans of that generation and Hitler - do not let them off so easily.
