Biometric Technology Replacing Timecards; Employers Tout Efficiency, Unions Cry Foul
- You come into EVERY thread on this site with this religious garbage, and that mean your posts require COUNTER posting for balance, otherwise it turns this site into a religious fundy site where only ONE viewpoint dominates.
one fanatic does not have the right to control the entire CBS news site- your posts are deleted because you SPAM this site daily and repeatedly with repetitive religious PROPAGANDA and then annoy not only the readers with post after post of your version of right wing propaganda, and then as you said one night you reported someone FOURTY TIMES, CBS staff is as sick of you and your obvious religious agenda in here as we are. Maybe what we should start doing is just as a group tired of this- report every one of his diatribes for religion posts every time as religious spam. What he does here is no less annoying and disruptive than dating/gambling/porn site spams.
You dont seem to get a CLUE when 2 dozen people in these threads all slam you and your posts, you dont grasp the concept of what NO means. - Reply to this comment
- Hes bigoted against the Bible, and CBS allows his post to remain. But mine are deleted.
Nuff said.
Outta here.
t has become abundantly clear, that after months of being assaulted for my faith on these boards, and reporting individuals for doing so and reporting them for cussing me out, slandering away, threatening, you name it, that CBS has a clear agenda: ANYTHING THAT IS ANTI-CHRISTIAN goes.

CBS is not a CHURCH, it is not for promoting RELIGION, it is a *NEWS, SPORTS AND WEATHER* site, if you want to constantly post your buybull drivel and attack everyone else who doesnt buy into YOUR version of beliefs, and then make false accusations of CRIMINAL hacking into your account- take it to a CHURCH FORUM! you want a list of them? is that it? I''ll post a long list of message boards for the religious reich who would feel quite at home with YOU among them. - Reply to this comment
- What''s the problem with a hand scanner? We don''t have an inalienable right to cheat, so what''s the problem with a device that makes it harder to cheat? Guess what? Automated systems give traffic citations, too. That should be considered far more invasive than a hand scanning system that simply thwarts cheating and automates the right to safety and security.

Yes, and perhaps he is the strawman for the head-strong Christian whose condescending manner is taken as insulting. - Reply to this comment
- Just think we all laughed at this stuff when it appeared on Star Trek 30 years ago. Said it would never happen. Well, Mr. Scott (RIP) Beam us up!

- "The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees complained vigorously two years ago after the city of Pittsburgh proposed installing fingerprint readers. "
It''s sad but the largest employer in Pittsburgh is the government...and it has one of the fastest declining populations - Reply to this comment
- What happens if one''s finger prints are stolen and used to commit a crime, to embarrass one, frame an unwanted employee, or who knows what? I''d think that would lead to one hell of mess.

- The unions hate a time keeping system that actually forces you to show up at your job. But the good news is that they still don''''t have to DO any work while they are there.

- This is hugely demeaning. In a time of falling wages, no retirements, and certainly no insureance, how can anyone back up such systems. It gives human resources people just another excuse to fire people they don''t like for rediculous reasons.

- No, actually you don''t see. Or more specifically you do understand and you don''t want to see it.
Be a victim if you want - you obviously want and need to play that role.
But don''t blame anyone but yourself. - Reply to this comment
- Seriously rick, are you asking because you don''t understand or because you''re mad?
I can explain the first part of you really want me to. I''m serious, no sarcasm. - Reply to this comment

- And just think of the health hazard. You have to place your hand on a platform where anyone who has a cold or doesn''''t wash their hands after using the bathroom also lays their hand on.

I hope you''re kidding about the health hazard. The health hazard is no different than what we currently have with doorknobs and other shared devices. Simply wash your hands as usual. - Reply to this comment

You got a cell phone, you''re being tracked.
You got a pager, you''re being tracked.
You got E-Z Pass, you''re being tracked.
Debit cards are the Fed''s way of eventually making owning legal tender (money as we know it) illegal.
You won''t need it, since now it will be a world of debits and credits. Digital TV, they know what you''re watching.

- rick,
I think its pretty easy to assume christ or the anti-christ could find any person they wanted pretty easily AM I RIGHT? THIS IS NOT A RELIGIOUS AFFAIR STOP TAKING QUOTES AND TURNING INTO SOMETHING THEY ARE NOT !!!!
Obviously the chips being put into every person is a scarey thing. It would be even more of a slap to the face to even come close to calling this a free country, scene as how we are already told what we can and cannot put in our bodies as it is.
You ever watch the movie Gattica???? where all humans are genitically enhanced pre birth. Pretty good movie. - Reply to this comment
- I don''t see any difference between this and punching a time clock. Is there one? MY concern is the storing and
maintenance of a digital finger print that can be stolen and used to steal an identity. It would be more difficult to explain it wasn''t you if someone fed your finger print into the system. AND do you trust GW not to do that in order to convict a terrorist? Someone suspected of being a terrorist but is innocent? - Reply to this comment
