jesus represents the suns kingdom in the age of pices. in the bible it is written, in peter i think, something t the effect of, what will we do when jesus is gone, the answer is you will go into a house with a man carrying a bucket of water. this represents aquarius, who is always shown as a man with a bucket of water.
this means that as the sun moves out of the age of pices it will move into the age of aquarius.
the procession of the equinox.
you are worshiping a solar diety representing pices

Are you embarrassed by the Bible? If not, just answer the question. I will not make fun of you.

How old do YOU believe the earth to be, based on your biblical studies?

Dinosaurs were on Noah's Ark? yes/no

-FINALLY! A person who FINALLY admits that emotions and feelings CANNOT be explained by SCIENCE, further proving the existence of God who created us with the instinct of knowing what right and wrong indeed is!

Umm, Earth to Rick. That is not what I said.

Now, how about answering the time question?

emotions are chemical occurances within the human brain.such as fear or love. these help propogate the evolution of the species. nothing more. you belive in this solar messiah out of a need to be loved and the fear of damnation.

horus loves you, be afraid of his wrath.

singingrick, would you mind taking a look at
http://www.infidels.org/library/modern/donald_morgan/absurd.html
and answer some of the challenges to the bible?
For example:
- How could plants be created before the sun
- The fact that a global flood is pysically impossible, left no trace and is a stupid way of dealing with problems.
- How could the sun be stopped in the sky when it is the earth that goes around the sun.
- Why does the bible imply the earth is flat.
- The lack of evidence of enslavement in Egypt, the Exodus, and the conquest of the promised land.

"so that by simply believing in Him in my heart.."

And that is religion in a nutshell, Rick. It is emotional, not logical or rational. Ergo the "heart" reference that is so uniquely a Christian expression...

That is why you will find no solace in science.

you have to explain why the birth and death of "christ" occurs on the solstices.
it is no coincedence. jesus was intended to be a solar messiah, just like horus. the romans tried to put historic context to an age old story.
this is the truth, the way.
hell, christians even use the "pagan" symbol of the atrological chart as their own. the cross is directly from astrology.
the romans burned and killed for 4 centuries so that you would't find the truth about jesus. he was a solar messiah, like hundreds of others throughout history.
look up how many dietys were born of a virgin on dec 25 , were crucified, buried and rose 3 days later, you would be suprised.
because you actually worship the story of horus, revamped for you by the gnostics and edited and maintaind by the roman catholic church.

What a waste of SEVEN pages of comments, swamped by the mentally ill. s'ick, is that really you on that myspace page, is was it made on some schizophrenic episode, trying to make people feel sorry for you?

Science is not religion and religion is not science. You can't have a discussion with someone that with such ugly disdain for language.

the christian religion is totally based on astrology.
you know the three kings? that visited christ in "bethlehem"
they are the 3 stars in orions belt. during dec. 22, 23, 24 the suns oreintation as we see it on earth is moving south, on the 25 the "three kings" line up with the star in the east and point to the exact spot that the sun will rise, hence, the three kings follow the star in the east to the birth of the sun (son) its all astrological, you have been duped, by the romans.

You have just exposed evolution for what it is, a slew of philosophical assumptions, also by saying there a "billion" things that you don't know.

You have clearly not read The Origin of Species, based on your post. How can you intelligently comment on things you have not actually studied??

The words "man and woman" came about through "observed occurrences in the universe????"

well yeh, are you a man? look down between your legs and you should see a ***. now, go tell someone about it. i have just created the word "man"
i hope you see my point.

by the way. christians tend to view any god other than"the one true god" as pagan. the egyptions worshiped amen-ra, who impregnated a virgin, who had horus on december 25. horus lived a life as a diety incarnate, travelling around with his twelve apostles, healing the sick, raising the dead, performing other miracles. he was dcrucified and buried and arose 3 days later and ascended to heaven. he was called by the egyptions the lamb of god, the light of the world, so on.
they worshipped on sunday and said "amen" after they prayed to amen-ra (the father).
this is fact. look it up.

-Well I wonder why it is that you "don't know". Could it be that you are in continuous denial of your Creator, who in fact gives you all the answers you will ever need and who loves you??? Why do you keep running from Him?? What good is it really doing you to run from God (Jesus Christ) who loves you???

Well, there you go! No need to take a science class. Close all the schools. All the answers are in the Bible. Right?

The next time you are deathly sick, will you go to your preacher and ask to be healed? No, you will go to a hospital and seek trained medical assistance. Or die, your choice.
