"Brood XIII" Set To Emerge In Force For First Time In 17 Years
- mdk2dude,
I could waste my time showing the stupidity of your argument that Pelosi has not passed one bill that was made into law, but then I'd be trying to talk sense into someone with less intelligence than a Cicada!

- Since I grew up in the region, they are nothing new. I don't see why people have to make a stink out of them. Sure, they can be a pest but it only lasts a week on the outside. You should try mowing the yard when they are in full hatch. It seems the vibrations of the lawn mower atract them. Making for an unusual and funny (if you're an observer) event. The last big hatch I remember was in 2004, there wasn't a big hatch last year...

- Now, you know, Hollywood is going to make a new thriller: "Brood XIII: Attack of the Noisy Bug". But of course, they will turn these bugs into flesh-eating creatures.

- Wow! The very first comment on this story mentions politics, amazing!
What I find amazing is the cicadas story. See ya again in 2024. - Reply to this comment
- Interesting bugs, but what is the point of living underground for 17 years and then coming up to mate and die? See...*** kills!

- The answer to this is to blame it on Bush. Then all the liberals will feel good that they have taken another swipe at the President. We all know the real problem is Nancy Pelosi has not enacted her bill against them in the first 100 hours of her session. In fact she has yet to push through one bill that was made into law. "All talk and no action" is their motto now. If they had any guts they would outlaw high gas prices. That way they could really impress the left.
