- Until governments and the oil industry allows us to begin using water as fuel(which is now possible) NOTHING WILL CHANGE.
Since energy is a multi-trillion dollar industry and water is free for everyone, don't expect us to be able to save ourselves anytime soon. - Reply to this comment

- This might sound a bit cold, but if the price of food was to skyrocket, perhaps people, especially in developing countries, would temper their breeding and reduce the numbers who are born. This seems like a positive outcome. Less people, less need for energy. Less people in developing countries, less poor and less misery.

- Look into hydroponic farming. They could grow these fuels stacked on top of each other on shelves in a greenhouse. Without even using/leeching soil.
