I think the creators of the amazing all-electric American-made Tesla automobile (www.teslamotors.com) deserve this 25 million dollar award already. This company has already created the most amazing vehicle which uses no petroleum and is more than twice as efficient as any hybrid. It also looks like a million bucks and does zero to 60 in less than 4 seconds. They have plans to come out with a more affordable family sedan in the next couple of years too, but have already shown that the technology already exists to eliminate our dependence on imported oil and reduce our CO2 emissions dramatically.

"I still maintain the left-wing has all the cool musicians, though."

But no one can deny the fact that Ted Nugent has excellent taste in firearms.

Al Gore is so vulnerable to ridicule that it makes a poor sport to even think about it, so I won't do it anymore. How will they "know" who solves Global Warming? Why doesn't Bransom stop building ballons and rockets and build us a clean running affordable form of transportation? Have you seen the three-wheeled little number that is coming to the US from EU? IT'S COOL

Human respiration is the biggest source of CO2 on the planet, actually.

Here's an idea I'll bet people of all political persuasions can get behind:

Ration all politicians and public figures of all sorts to 100 words per day. The reduction of emission of hot air would be of great assistance in the greenhouse gas problem, and the aesthetic benefits would be enormous.

The moment they speak that 101st word, shoot 'em.

Planting trees is a very good idea - seriously. I hate it when I hear an unbathed, flip-flopped longhair whining about cutting trees. Young trees produce more oxygen and consume more Co2 than old-growth trees do.

agreed on planting trees. they will help eat the co2 out of the atmosphere. California's freeway off-ramps are already primed with water, plant trees here.

GW thought the world needed warming up, he was not aware we wanted to cool it down, hence Iraq, all those bombs and sulphur flying upwards had his little chart going up and up. Who is going to tell him?

I agree, stop cutting down trees, and plant more trees to eat the CO2. Since California has an adequate water supply plumbed to all the freeway off-ramps plant lots of trees here.

I propose that Al Gore put ice cubes in his pants. THAT would cool the air down really quick.

UnAmerican, as far as I'm concerned, they're all jackasses. The fact that the republicans are elephantine jackasses is just a matter of degree.

You may even have a point about global warming being used as an excuse for taxation. Everything else is, so why not?

I still maintain the left-wing has all the cool musicians, though.

Did it ever occur to these thermo-phobes that all the marijuana they smoked probably contributed more greenhouse gas than the car they drove?

Did you get a look at Al Gore? Doesn't look like he's too distraught about Global Warming to stop eating Cheetohs all day! This is all fun and fanciful publicity for the "boy who would be president".

david 1737, It is the politicians who are playing politics with global warming to attract the "Green" vote. The rest of us are meaningless in the debate, you can however bet your boots on it being a tax hike scam.
