- Gaye5, they don't understand that the SUN heats our planet. They don't understand that the sun itself orbits around the milky way galaxy, while we orbit around the sun, hurtling through space and time. They think the SUN is a constant temp, like it has a stuck thermostat or something and never gets any hotter or cooler. They don't understand that if you read the bible correctly the SUN is the SON of GOD... they just don't get anything... But as soon as some psuedoscientists sucking up government paychecks paid for by taxpayer money start screeching like shrill women about a PREDICTION of a 6 degree increase in temperatures over the next 100 years they start running around like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off...

NO frank, not all scientific communities have been united on this. Many say that we are heading for warmer climates, but that the main culpit is not our burning of fuel but that the sun is heating all planets, read some of what I have said way back on this bog...then look up what scientists say about the sun is heating up..things like,

- bildooreilly and Jim, we started off this discussion with what I thought was some pretty intelligent intercourse and I am disappointed that it has deteriorated into who has the best brain and knowledge, neither of you will ever know if you are right. Science has disproved its own theories over and over again, we have a mime of miss-information being thrown at us to manipulate the masses and you two reduce your arguments to something like children do in the play ground... Two very sensible men fighting over nothing, and who cares if creation or evolution is the truth. In watching a programme on TV the other night which said that evolution has been disproved with DNA and other things, but of course it will still be pushed in schools until another worthless theory comes along.
Each of you will never learn from others while you wont listen, and really does it matter???, all of our opinions are probably wrong anyway...
It is no good putting your IQ on here as we have no proof, so lets cool it, and for those who believe in divine guidance if they are wrong when they die they have nothing to loose, but for those who dont believe if they are wrong????? - Reply to this comment

- bildooreilly, I think that I would rather believe in creation than first of all there was nothing out there and then nothing exploded... and then that nothing turned into viruses, which are going to mutate from bird flu to kill many humans.

I'm doing OK. Going to quit my job as I now remember why I retired early, I don't like to work. Other then that no one will do anything about global warming until they figure out a way to make a profit at it. If they don't then we all die because it doesn't make good business sense for us to live. Welcome to the republican world. - Reply to this comment
