Isn't it great how historians can make a living out of wrongfully assuming what other people accomplished hundreds of years ago?

How about properly investigating more recent massacres, such as in Iraq, Afghanistan or Vietnam........

The World Court needs to investigate this matter immediately. Doctor Livingstone's living relatives must be subpoenaed and vigorously interogated. Also Dr. Livingstone must be exumed as there may be blood residue under his finger nails; and I suspect this Wasnicki fellow may be implicated in the cover up. And why are those 2 guys smiling in the photo? Somebody call Interpol.

I'm still very annoyed by this headline. The article says, "may have had something to hide about the bloody incident." So, why does the headline say that Livingstone lied?? He possibly-might-maybe-could've not told the truth?

I don't think that a possibly-might-maybe-could've is ENOUGH to slander the guy who can't even explain or defend himself. Dr. Livingstone did blow the whistle about the massacre. Give him credit for that!!

I bet I could piece together Livingston's story from a journal written on cancelled checks with berry juice a lot easier that I can decipher what the author of this pathetic piece is trying to say.

There are many examples of men causing or allowing massacres to
happen because they believed the "good" resulting from it, would
exceed the "bad"!
Another example is Pearl Harbor, where American officials had advanced warning of the attack, but rather than calling the unit
commanders and letting them know, sent a telegram that didn't arrive until well after the attack had already begun!
So, this is nothing new, just another example of a tactic that
serves as a means to an end!

Another example would be the republican party intentionally sinking the US economy to regain the presidency in 2012

To 'morals'- unfortunately, you're probably right! They certainly aren't working to save it! Though, I still believe BOTH parties
deserve a lot of credit for what's happened!

It's easy to tell when someone is lying--if their story doesn't fit with the politically correct authorized narrative, then they are obviously lying.
