Smoking cigarettes is for fools, addicts, dummies, and white southern conservatives (all synonymous with each other.)

Well it's a step, a baby step, but a step.
I don't think it would be fair to make the millions of smokers go cold turkey in a short time but I think something needs to be done about tobacco because it is a killer.

Cars kill.
Alcohol kills.
Idiots with guns kill.
Even food Kills.

Are you ready to make all those things illegal too? If not then back off and shut up.

YAWN, this is nothing more than the end results of what has been in the works for many years, starting with adding heavy taxes and restrictions on ads. AT least Obama isn't in the tobacco and oil co's pockets like your your butt buddy BUSH was!

Why don't those useless, lying, spineless jerks in office actually do something about the awful nicotine addiction that kills so many people, and make it illegal? This Bill is purely lip service, to make them look good, a PR opportunity, nothing more. If they really cared to stop teenagers from taking up the nicotine habit, let alone cared to help the countless number of people who became addicted decades ago and cannot stop, these legislators would outlaw cigarettes. But they won't. Too much tax revenue in it. And that's far more important than really preventing teenagers or adults from smoking.

Are you so supportive of them taking away one of your rights in the process? If not then shut up.

Since the Republicans are against regulation of companies why are they against legalized drugs of all types? I guess if the Republicans had their way the tobacco companies would still be adding 500% more nicotine like they did in the past.
I love Republicans, don't you?

I think the smokers need to organize and enlist the help of a group like GLAD to teach them how to take control of the situation. Get their "Spin" going to the point where any Non Smoker expressing a critical remark about their smoking lifestyle choice is labeled "predjudiced, bigoted and hateful". With enough opposite PC pressure we can get back to good old smoking "healthy and invigorating" cigarettes.
