23-Week-Old Delivered While Teen Waited For Late Doctor; Clinic Owner Tossed Infant In Garbage
- No one should have to live with the guilt this person will feel later in life. It will come and not go away. Those wounds may never heal. I hope this person will come to their senses, and now make better choices with the people around him/her. Sounds like there never was much love at home. If you sre reading this blog, it''s not too late to make a difference for someone else. God is big enough to forgive you, but you will never forgive yourself.

- newster thank ye.. my mum was forced out of school.forced to marry at 16 , and at 17,gave birth. I was the reason. Children born to unwed parents were called bas-tasds. That sounds awful. They did back alley abortions. I heard of it. i was raised in foster homes. I did my part ..no children..

Oh? thats just because WWW and instant communication, cell phones, digi cams etc didnt exist, but I can assure you tens of thousands of back alley abortions were quietly performed by unqualified people as well as the women themselves, some died, some wound up in the hospital.
It was all the result of your right wingers verbally and worse-condeming girls back then for having s3x w/o marriage and having accidents that would shame them out of school or even out of their parent''s HOME.
Rather than face THAT, they had an abortion by a back alley hacker who quietly disposed of the tissue.
If things are worse today its because the US population has more than DOUBLED since 1950 census, and THAT is the root of every social, medical and economic ills along with shortages of resources etc. - Reply to this comment
- "The baby was just treated as a piece of garbage," said Tom Brejcha,"
Well, it WAS garbage, the woman wanted an abortion, she had one. Whether the thing came out prematurely on it''s own after the woman taking dilation drugs while waiting for the doctor, or was pulled out by the doctor during the procedure doesn''t matter- she didn''t want the baby and paid to get rid of it.One less mouth for the overpopulated planet to feed, one less gas guzzling car on the road, one less house sucking up finite resources, thank you doctor! - Reply to this comment
- putting religion and politics aside.."is this 18 year old GIRL having an abortion because of all incest, medical danger blah blah blah (the usual argument why to keep it legal)?

- What wicked webs we weave when we attempt to play God.
Too bad no one gave this newborn a "Choice."
I''m geussing the baby would''ve "chosen" to live.
Anyway you want to rationalize it or make symantic argument, abortion is murder for convenience sake.
Pro-Choice = Pro-Abortion = Pro-Murder = Pro-Child Abuse.
Thank goodness for you your mother had more respect for life than her own comfort. - Reply to this comment
- I''m pro-choice but this is a murder case to me- it''s not really about abortion laws but medical malpractice and the continuing decline in the quality of care-

- SOOO...to all you so called "PRO_CHOICE" defenders.
What is the difference between "PRO-CHOICE" and "PRO-ABORTION"???????????????? Are you saying that you dont support abortion, but you do support otehrs who want abortion? WHAT KIND OF POLITICAL DISTORTION IS THAT?!

Here, I''ll break it down for all you ignoramuses up in the cheap seats who don''t have the full use of your frontal brain lobes yet.
I happen to not like abortion, but I support a woman''s right to make that decision herself. I''m not "pro-abortion" in the same way that you are "anti-abortion". All you anti-abortionists want to dictate the decision made by every woman in that they can never choose abortion. I support a woman''s right to choose whether or not to have an abortion, WHICH ALSO INCLUDES THE RIGHT NOT TO HAVE ONE.
So in order to be "pro-abortion" in the same way that all you people are "anti-abortion", I''d have to be in favor of forcing every single woman to have an abortion. - Reply to this comment

Ummm, JD, I''m sorry to tell you that not only did we HAVE these problems 50,60, 70, and more years ago, but they were far worse in many, many ways. This is a good example of ignorance being bliss - "If I don''t hear about it or see it, then it must be happening."
For us (you, actually) to romanticize a time when it was legal to rape your wife, child molestation was "nobody''s business" and was considered a fabricated fantasy of the child, the police let domestic violence be a "family issue," and women gave themselves abortions with hangers is not only ignorant, it''s offensive. Get a grip on what was REALLY going on in "those days" and then we can talk. - Reply to this comment
- This is interesting. At first I was shocked and disgusted that this person handled a live-born baby this way and let it suffer and die in a waste bag. Then I realized that to "abort" this baby, they would have had to kill it in-utero, deliver it, THEN put it in the waste bag, so it''s really just a matter of when and where the baby suffered and died. I am 100% pro-choice, but NOT for late-term abortions. This is all kinds of messed up.
