But, then again, how much class do we expect out of citizens who take jobs like this in the first place?

Interesting point. It''s similar to my take of chain restaurants hiring teenagers as their "chefs" because real chefs won''t work for such low wages. Some of these teenage chefs are either immoral or ignorant with safe food handling (I have personally witnessed this back in my restaurant days). Because they are young and ignorant, it''s no excuse to accept their behavior.

Even if you are going to kill something for food, it''s terribly wrong to torture it. Pigs are not always going to walk quietly to the killing pens, but that goes with the territory on a job like this. The jobs need people that will just do the work humanely.

These farm factories are factories and should be regulated as any other industry and not as a family farm. Most family owned farms are maintained and the farmers take that extra effort to save animals that might be considered runts or misfits.

These people need prosecuting. Research studies have indicated that violent acts towards animals suggests the person possesses a dangerous psychopathy. It has also been found that people who commit acts of cruelty toward animals don%u2019t stop there, that many move on to humans. Do you consider folks who desire and enjoy ramming rods up pigs anuses normal?

OH, you have all got to be kidding!!! As the great, great granddaughter and daughter of farmers~what planet are you all from...of course they are NOT pets...but no farmer treats his livestock with disdain...they are a commodity, they are our lively hood and only a overbloated PIG FACTORY would treat their animals with such disregard and cruelty...WE ARE WHAT WE EAT!!! I hope these men come back as livestock themselves...

I do not condone what that company does but you have to keep the assembly or disassembly line moving. Maybe baby brains will top the Asian market over sushi. I see a market in the making.

Livestock are beasts of the field. Humane treatment using panels to move pigs, sows and sometimes boars work.
I can understand using electric shock for moving boars.
What most people cannot understand is that livestock are not pets. You can be hurt by livestock while working them - such as a 300# boar stepping on your foot. Or a 200# sow pushing you down and running over you. Now handling livestock as alleged is bad business - you will lower animals gain you will stress them out making it harder to work with them.
PETA why didn''t they visit with management to get better care of the hogs ? PETA has it''s own agenda to make all of us into vegetarians. Whether we want that or not. In some parts of the livestock industry they feel PETA should be labeled as a domestic ignorant group of *** footed individuals who want us to become vegetarians.

lay your wants and protests somewhere else not in front of me. I lost my sense of humor years ago. Somebody gets in the way they will be removed and hundreds will help me out. If I cose to help a woman to a clinic no matter what kind dont get in front of me and try to block me. Thats all I have to say on the matter.

How did I just know somebody had to bring abortion into the story. We have some sort of clinic near where I shop. They stood out there week after week and the pictures they were carying were offensive to me so a quick few phone calls and they all vanished never to be seen again.
