Who cares how many people die as long as the drug companies don''t make enough money to fund research and development? If the leftist loons hadn''t spent so much time, effort and money agitating against the drug industry in Congress, this whole debacle could probably have been prevented. Sadly, the diseases they have perpetuated by their fanatical attacks on the drug companies will not limit themselves to the left. They will kill us all. But for the loons, it''s okay, because letting the drug companies make a profit so they can fund research and development of other drugs is to be stopped at all costs. And, no, I don''t work (and never have) in the drug industry.

Could this by chance be something brought to us by the same gang of science criminals that brought us AIDS? Perhaps part of the heaven on earth plan of a world with no homosexuals or non whites, now adding no old people.

connietoscan,.....Talked to my wife about it because I couldn''t remember the name of the company. She said it was "Oreganol" from the North American Herb and Spice Co. We''ve used it on bad cuts and the like. Makes it heal up REALLY fast. God bless your son.

Actually since these are naturally symbiotic bacteria already living in our bodies, then the immune system might not attack them, even if they are out of balance. Therefore strengthening the immune system might not be effective at all. Very scary. Can anyone clarify?

I recommend giving him bovine colostrum. it is available in tablets. if he takes 2 of these a day it will soon strengthen his immune system enough to fight it on its own. Thats the theory, but I have great confidence that it could work. I was prone to stomach viruses and ear infections, nearly on cue. Since I started taking the colostrum, I haven''t been sick since...about 2 years now. It is very safe and is classified as a food.

my 18 yr old son is right now in cooper hospital fighting injuries caused by a fall from a 3 story balcony. he aquired c-diff and mrsa from being in the truama unit. he''''s been there since 4/23 and still has both infections. none of coopers staff will talk to me about it. i''''m pissed off and i don''''t know what to do. any ideas?

Posted by connietoscan at 07:13 PM : May 28, 2008--------The first thing I''d do if it were my son in that condition is get him out of there and have him start taking 100% wild Mediterranean "Oregano Oil" orally. Google it for yourself. Those doctors will kill your child just to milk your wallet dry.

impeach_w,.......Where did I say Canadians do not use antibiotics in cows? I did say that rBGH was banned there. My opinion is concerning America, not Canada......What will a constant ingestion of antibiotics from whatever source do to you?

As an employee of a nursing home, part of the environmental services team, I have dealt up close and personal with C-diff on many occasions. I have been well trained to work in and around a C-diff room. ALL of my residents, and I stress this ALL, have gotten this condition while at a HOSPITAL and on high doses of ANTI-BIOTICS. As frail as my ''people'' are NONE have died from C-diff. Never have we had any resident to resident or resident to staff infections. This is because we all take extra care in hygenic practices.
Also, too much of that hand sanitizer stuff isn''t good either. Nothing is as good as warm water and soap handwashing! That is the biggest defense any of us have over these "Superbugs" such as C-diff and MRSA.
Handwashing, Handwashing, Handwashing.....It''s really simple....

my wife had c dif and survived in fact had little problem with it. she got while hospitalized and then in nursing home. Face it guys our overuse of anti biotics not drinking milk is the problem and note also that the best chance of getting these serious infections are in hospitals because that is where the sickest people are. I found it interesting that someone said we should follow canada''s example yet they have the same trouble.

Note I saw my wife daily and did not get sick.

I don''t go so far as to be the restroom monitor; however, if I really must use a public restroom, I touch as few surfaces as possible and I open the door with the paper towel I used after washing my hands.

Here''s a vein you can dig into for the cause. Al Gore and Monsanto Corp., the sole vendor of the artificial growth hormone drug "rBGH" or "Posilac" that they inject milk cows with is causing the cows problems. The farmers then use stronger and stronger antibiotics to treat these problems,.....while still milking the cow. HELLO? ANY MENTAL LIGHT BULBS ON YET? In the meantime, better start drinking only certified organic milk. Australia, New Zealand, Canada, to name a few countries are wise in prohibiting this garbage you put into your intestines. Still trust Al Gore? That dude is nothing but a Reverend Sharpton for the environmental movement. He just gets in the way to make a buck.

C-diff has been around for 20 years & has been virulent. I used to beg dietary in nursing homes
to load people up with yogurt and ask floor nurses
to get probiotic orders when residents were put on
antibiotics. That idea was "too far out".

Lay off the hand sanitizer, people!

If you''''ve gotten rid of 99% of the bacteria on the first use, you''''re making the remaining 1% stronger... And so it will go!

There is nothing new about C.difficle. It first became a hospital/health care facility problem in the ''80s. It stems from use & overuse of antibiotics. Patients and doctors brought this on themselves by the insistence that all infections viral, bacterial etc. had to have antibiotics. Lack of us of sanitation is largely responsible for other horrible infections such as MRSA.
