That''d be appropriate considering most of his followers are blind anyway.

Hey - I''m sure if you''re poor or otherwise ''burdened'', your life might get easier should you decide to murder your 3 year old... that doesn''t mean we should be allowed to do it, or that it should be everybody ELSE''S responsibility to take care of the 3 year old...

Anyone who has ever seen an early ultrasound knows the truth - that''s a baby - no matter how you try to dehumanize it by calling it a ''clump of cells'' or what have you...

And no, I''m not going to be ''open minded'' about murdering children - you see, I''m not a liberal who can rationalize away the murder of babies by making everything all some sort of subjective mush... besides, YOU read the story - it''s apparently mostly NOT the scared little teenager or poor poor mom who thinks the kid would be better off murdered than put up for adoption - it''s mostly people who do it out of convenience...

Liberals - don''t be a hater just because we like to murder children

dogsoul....Come on dog, give it a rest. I am so sick of you right wing whackos trying to interject your narrow minded opinions into discussions that are meant to provide ideas and knowledge. Why is it always, liberals are anti-christian, anti-american and on and on? I think for myself and I am not anti-christian or anti-american. I simply have a different point of view than you do. Insulting me isn''t going to change my mind.

mennowomen...I''m sure you are right about some clinics using pressure to talk the woman into going through with an abortion. If that is discovered the clinic should be closed at once. I have had friends who worked in planned parenthood and in all cases they were kind compassionate professionals whose objective was to be supportive to the patients. To say that all clinics are just in it for the money might be a bit of a stretch. It would be wonderful if there was no need for this type of clinic but I don''t see that in the future.

Well, for those of you who want to make abortions illegal, I am all for it but you must sign a paper and file it with the government to pay for all the children. Now I say all because we can not distinguish between who would have had one and who would not this makes it equal.

Once you sign and file the document you must pay for all bill, needs and everything it will be deducted out of your check and accounts. If the government needs more they come to you and take it. If you don''t have the cash they sell something.

You still willing because I am not willing to pay for what you nut cases want anymore.

It seems that one objective should be to reduce the need for abortions. I believe education is a key element in doing this. It amazes me when I hear people rant about *** education in schools. Then you discover that these same people provide absolutely no information at home. Then they wonder why little Suzzie is pregnant. Kids today are smart and they will make their own choices. Isn''t it better that they be able to make informed choices as opposed to having no information to use in their decision?
Finally, those of you who want to ban abortion completly. If, and only if, YOU are willing to take one of these unwanted children into your home, raise and educate it, love it and be there for it do you have the right to demand that the right of choice be taken away. How many of you are willing to do that? I thought so.

...the rest tried to blame somebody else - it''''s precisely that kind of inability to accept responsibility for yourself that leads to abortions in the first place - don''''t indulge it.

I guess you don''t see the difference between being forced to do somethng and not accepting responsibility for what you have done. One of my college roommates was driven to the abortion clinic by her mother and told that if she didn''t have the abortion, she would never see her mother again. Another friend was taken to the clinic for a "pregnancy test," then pressured by her boyfriend and the clinic personnel, being told, "you can''t have a baby now, it will ruin your life." Abortion clinics work for a profit and once a woman is inside, it''s hard to get out without being pressured to go through with it.

People do things based on many motives. If a woman discovers that she is pregnant she may experince many different emotions. It depends upon her situation. If she is poor, has several other children, no education, whatever the case may be she is going to ask herself what action is best for her to take. Some of you say that women use abortion for birth control. Maybe some do but certainly not all. It must be said too that wealthy women also get abortions and for some of the same reasons. But it is ultimately the woman''s choice. As a man, I have no right to tell a woman what she can and can''t do with her own body. I don''t want that responsibility. Although there is no agreement as to when life actually begins I will say that to me, once the fetus is viable outside the woumb then it does become murder. I believe that abortion past that point should be illegal. Now that''s just my opinion and many of you may not agree with me. That''s OK. If this were the case, it would give a woman pleanty of time to make a decision.

Ah yes... the ''best'' they could do was to - um - murder the child... makes you wonder what the worst she could do was... go on a killing spree at daycare centers around the country??? but hey, baby killing isn''t an ''important'' issue so let''s talk about something else...

whatever

"Practically no one talks about the fact that a large percentage of women who have abortions feel pressured into it by their boyfriends, parents, caregivers, teachers, counsellors, bosses or other person of influence. Of the two dozen women I know that had abortions as teenagers or young adults, only one said it was completely her choice. "

Practically no one talks about the fact that a large percentage of women who have abortions feel pressured into it by their boyfriends, parents, caregivers, teachers, counsellors, bosses or other person of influence. Of the two dozen women I know that had abortions as teenagers or young adults, only one said it was completely her choice. The others all felt they had to do it to keep other people happy. It''s not really a free choice if you don''t have the ability to say no when you want to. Now that we are older adults, those friends who were pressured all regret terminating pregnancies they otherwise would have carried to term. Several of them never had any other children. I guess what I''m saying is, if your daughter, sister, girlfrield, wife is pregnant, don''t pressure her into doing something she doesn''t want to do. It''s not your body or your life. Let her live her life her way.

"Mikey, isn''t there a James Dobson Power Hour on or something?"
-Posted by FloydZepp at 02:54 PM : Jan 21, 2008

Logic doesn''t click with you, does it. S-E-X = BABIES. That''s the primary purpose. Don''t wanna raise a child? Don''t have s-e-x. That formula is 100% effective.

Before you whine about "rape, incest, etc.", those incidents are a slim minoroty of abortions. Most are cause because the parents would rather murder the child than care for it.

Sorry if that offends, but it''s the truth.

You know when all is said and done it''s none of my business what a woman chooses to do when she finds out shes pregnate {though I draw a line on late term}. People smoke peple drink to much drive to fast but I''m anti outlawing cars smokes or booze, We live in a free society people have the right to make thier own way. I''m TOTALY oppesed to calling these ladies murders that''s EVIL and destroys thier self esteem they just did the best they could do at the time give it a rest there are much more important issues out there that need or attention....
