Comments on: The Complex Face Of Abortion
Race, Economics Compose Largest Factors In U.S. Abortion Rates
- You''ll try it, and you may succeed for a while but eventually you will grow to despise the very people and beliefs that you were convinced were right. Or you will continue to believe and just pass through life believing something that isn''t real to you.I see no reason to tear at each other so continuasly when its so obvious that you are begining to just insult the other...Trying to be the one on top. I also think that you aren''t helping your aguement very much by tearing us down, by saying that we are the reason that women abort their children. That comes from total ignorance. I highly doubt and i''ve got study on my side, that women go out and say hey, because christians are so against us having abortion i''m going to go and murder my child. I think that we can both agree thats rather silly. Don''t you think?! Its rather sad that your telling us to f**k off when look at you...are you not doing the same thing that they are all doing? Beating them upside the head with your own version of truth.

- It seems to me that this squabble wasn''t so much about abortion as it was, who could convince who. That there is a God, that liberals are bad, that you''ll go to hell, that republicans are racist...the list goes on. You know its quite common for us as humans to want to make someone else believe something that we believe, when in truth, no one can make the other believe anything. Its a personal decision. And thank God that hasn''t been taken out of our country. Why can''t we focus on the things that are good and wholesome in this country, no matter how few they are. I mean look at this, we are all able to express our opinions, we are all able to believe in whatever we want. We can have however many children as we want. I personaly believe that children are gifts of God, and to take them away, abort them, well that just goes so strongly against my beliefs. But who am i to judge those that believe differantly. I have done things that are wrong. I''ve lied, cheated, broken up relationships, hurt the people i care the most about. And so who am i to say that your evil for believing that its ok to abort infants. Each of us have to come to our personal beliefs, because if we start to believe something because someone else says so, then one of two things will happen.

- dogsoul......Liberals-traitors to America, Enemies of Jesus.....You can''t read, can you? I posted at 10:34PM, just before your post containing the above at 10:45PM. You didn''t read my post did you? If you had you would have seen that I tried to explain to you in a nice way where we stand. But in the very next post you call us traitors and enemies of Jesus. Therein lies the problem. You are so morally arrogant that you refuse to even try to have any kind of dialogue. Trying to talk to you is like trying to talk to a post. Nowhere in my post did I insult you or call you names or comdemn you to hell. But back you come with the same old rhetoric as always. So call me what you want but I refuse to bring myself down to your level. I just don''t have the energy to hate.

Max, you may feel like a lone voice in the wilderness, but you are coming through loud and clear. You will not find too many simpathetic ears on this blog, but God bless you for trying. - Reply to this comment
- Isn''''t deciding to copulate a choice? If women would consider the consequences of their choices, maybe they would make better choices, or "right" choices. Oh, that''''s right......there is no more right or wrong.....silly me.

- By contrast, Alveda King, a niece of Martin Luther King Jr., calls herself a "reformed murderer" for undergoing two abortions when she was young.
Now an outspoken anti-abortion campaigner, King says the best way to reduce abortions among black women is to dissuade more of them from premarital ***.

SOUND AND SENSIBLE ADVICE. - Reply to this comment
- Martha Girard, on the other hand, says she''s appalled by the notion that women should lose the right to choose.

- There are children in foster care no one wants..most want a child that can see, hear ,walk not a handicapped child..That is the way it was in my day. My own mother hated me and told me to my face..I have never seen her face..It is interesting to hear the male side of this issue. There are 3 things that the staff talk about to the mum to be about,Keep the child,
give up the child
or abort.
It is not done lightly.
For the health and well being of the female. The pain lives with the female for the rest of her life..She is not selfish to take this action if she can''t carry it for health reasons but must be fixed to never carry a child again. This is a hot issue.. - Reply to this comment
