Ms. Storm''s treatment of the CPSC person was shameful. It was an absolute ambush and completely unprofessional. She did not even let her finish her comments which I was interested in hearing. A reporter is within their rights to question an agency''s policies, but that went WAY over the line. She should apologize to the woman not the agency.

We are actually a good part of the problem. We do not want to spend a lot of money on things so companies are going to China to have them make them. AND because these companies don''t pay them much then China has to make them using cheaper materials etc. If we want better products then we need to either stop buying products from China so that our countries have no choice but to make them here or we need to start giving China more money so they can use better materials or ingredients. Either way we need to stop being so CHEAP and start paying for BETTER QUALITY.

Americans do not have to buy anything from China...I have been vigilant and haven''t bought anything from China in almost 6 months: food, beauty products, toys, nothing...It''s difficult but you can do it if you really want to be healthy and protect your kids...Congress and the other crooks in D.C. will not protect you...don''t wait for them, these greedy corporations will keep outsourcing for these cheap, toxic products...protect yourselves, the government is not your mother! I live in Canada and a few weeks back there was a show on T.V. about everything that comes from China.
They apparently are poisoning their own people also.

The show was WFive and they went to China and took cameras. They took pictures of this place where they were storing the fish and the water was DISGUSTING. It had all this frothy stuff in the water and you could see a brown sludge mixing with it. And then they moved the camera a little bit and you could see people spraying pesticides on their crops right next to it.

Also there were 6o people in Canada and the U.S. that got very sick and a child almost died, from NOODLES. They contained a rare form of salmonella that apparently we don''t have here. When they visited where the noodles were made, they watched them hang the noodles out to dry and when they looked down they could see sewar running out onto the ground.

Just because something says it is "MADE IN CANADA" OR
"MADE IN THE U.S." doesn''t mean that ALL ingredients are from the U.S. or Canada. We can get the ingredients from other countries and as long as it is put together here it can be labeled as Made in Canada or the U.S.

There are phone numbers and email addresses on products and we need to start phoning them and demanding to know what is in things.
