CPSC: Deaths Of 3 Children Linked To Simplicity And Graco Cribs
- If the war on terror is real, those terrorists milling about in the Middle East will eventually move farther east. They''re already attacking India.
China should eventually be worried about Al Quaeda, but if the number of poisoned products continues (the Mattel toys'' magnets (but not the lead paint) and arguably this crib excluded because a designer may have more of the pertinent blame), global market consumers will rightly avoid China like they would the bubonic plague and the multinational companies will HAVE to relocate in order to save face. China is arguably in a worse position than the US thanks to deadly pet food, antifreeze-laden toothpaste, tainted human food, amongst other things... - Reply to this comment
- Hang Bush, who you calling a redneck? Your name, alone, shows your liberal American-hating bias. If the beds had lead based paint on them, then could "us redneck Americans" complain without being called rascist? I bet not, cause you just naturally hate America first. Well, Americans can complain even if it''s misguided. I bet if Chinese complain, they get put in prison or shot. Don''t you remember Tienemen Square?

- Erm, did you idiots actually read the actual news article, or are words just too difficult for you inbred rednecks to understand??
It is stated that "in all three deaths, the consumer had installed the drop-rail side of the crib upside down, the CPSC said."
The idiots (READ AMERICANS) installed the thing wrong now it is "CHINA''s FAULT" ?! ***??
And :
"The problem is the design flaws that the U.S. manufacturers designed into the product," Cowles said.
The fault lies in the design, which is designed by AMERICANS. YEP, AMERICANS. And yet the news blow it out of proportion to highlight China, which is unfair bias with racist overtone. - Reply to this comment
- Does the world really NEED to do business with China?
The short answer in NO!
Corruption is a way of life over there and all those dumb U.S. companies thinking they would reap windfalls in profits by outsourcing to China are now taking it on the chin, and deservedly so! - Reply to this comment
- To parrody a common cliche...
...China has made our bed, now we must lie in it.
(Oh, there are so many inferences that can be drawn from that statement above)! - Reply to this comment
- We need to realize that we, as consumers, have it in our own power to demand higher standards to protect our safety and our jobs.

- I think that at this point, babies are safer if parents just put their babie''s mattress on the floor.
Seriously, we need to boycott things made in China, but then Walmart would just lie to us again. Remember when Walmart bragged that everything they sold was ''made in America''? Then Walmart got busted. - Reply to this comment
- I love how they put "Chinese-Made" in the headline, just to get people all riled up. Probably 95% of consumer items are Chinese-made anyway.

- Every year, China donates to the Republican and Democratic parties. Perhaps that explains why nothing is being done to correct this problem.
