Great idea.
Here are a few more:
A department to oversee the weather across the country;
A department to review education;
A department for national security;
A department for social type security;
Oh, and how about some type of department for justice. . . the possibilities are endless. .

A committee. Excellent idea. Is this a Blue Ribbon Panel, an ad hoc committee or an investigative body with full subpoena powers?

Is it blah, blah, blah or is it yap, yap, yap or is it ***, *** ***?

Inquiring minds want to know, King George, The Terrible.

Why not instead of another panel, we just start sending this food to the White House cafeteria. Then when no one goes to the hospital, we can allow it in the country.

Yeah right.. just what we need now a food czar, a war czar, a drug czar.. the Repubs have dismantled our functional regular federal government so we need a new czar every time something else gets fobar. That way it looks like they actually intend to try and fix it.. what a joke!! These people can't wipe their own noses.

Then why was it announced yesterday that 7 of the 13 FDA offices are going to be closed? That makes no sense.

Instead of adding to the FDA's ability to check products coming into this country, we get a study group of Bushs old reliables. I have alrady quit buying any kind of fish, apple juice, pork and soon will add chicken to the list. We need a label with the origin of ALL INGREDIENTS on all foods and medecine.If Congress doesn't act soon, the food industry will be bashed like the clothing manufactures and a host of others in the past. Outsourcing has never been a good idea and its coming back to haunt us. Remember all the pets we lost???? thanks to China.
