If they successfully block the Strait of Hormuz, doesn't matter what happens after that, they win because it would have a crippling affect financially on all nations that imports Persian Gulf oil.

Wrong; All they have to do is raise the Insurance on these Super Tankers, besides sinking a few of them, BP would hit second place in hrs. not days! Plus their is Oil Companies that would stop shipping Oil from their, not because of the threat, but because they have Oil Wells that costs twice as much to pump and now they can get their Money back from these wells and drill more in areas that has cheaper returns. Cost Plus too Supply and Demand? Who would ever guest that!!
closing Hormuz would be the best thing to happen to this country. Get people riding bicycles on their commute downtown. save money on gas even though prices will be thru the roof. Get healthy peddling every day and watch health costs go way down with fewer obese smoking and drinking slugs who develop cancer, heart disease and diabetes. Reduce the trade deficit Reduce money being back doored into muslim terrorist organizations. Actually create more jobs in the alternative energy industry without oil as competition.
What if you live outside of these cities that you was born in live in and will die in. Myself, I live over 1 mile from a Short Stop, that opens at 6am and closes at 9pm. The next place is over 18 miles which has a Wal-Mart and two food stores that has the Short Stop HRS. Now compare 50 to 75 cents more for gas, 3 or 5.5 dollars for milk, no meats, cans goods 2 to 300% higher. Ride a BIKE? A horse would be better for me, plus 50 million more that also lives in the country!!
poor baby get a motorcyle. Small ones get up to 100 miles per gallon get a hybrid. They get up to 50 miles per gallon I have a 91 Honda CRX that gets almost 50 miles per gallon a couple of compact diesels get over 50 miles per gallon This might open the door for more jobs as delivery service sounds to me like you are the perfect person to drag this country down. complacent, lazy, uninspired and unwilling to find solutions. how much do you weight? how long do you sit in front of the TV every day? I have neighbors who do ride the 14 miles into town on a BICYCLE to shop and they are in their 40's and 50's.
I am Totally Disable, I can only walk about 50 to 150 feet at a time, I only have a few years left to live, injured in Iraq. I hope the best for you and all others!
Please close the straits. We have been trying to find a great reason to kick your ass with world support. All of you zealots are all the same before the ass whipping. You make all these threats and shake your sticks at us, then you run and hide in dirt holes where you pigs should be in the first place place.
REUTERS - Former U.S. President George W. Bush has cancelled a visit to Switzerland, where he was to address a Jewish charity gala, due to the risk of legal action against him for alleged torture, rights groups said on Saturday.
Bush was to be the keynote speaker at Keren Hayesod's annual dinner on Feb. 12, 2011 in Geneva. But pressure has been building on the Swiss government to arrest him and open a criminal investigation if he enters the Alpine country.
Criminal complaints against Bush alleging torture have been lodged in Geneva, court officials say.
Human rights groups said they had intended to submit a 2,500-page case against Bush in the Swiss city on Monday for alleged mistreatment of suspected militants at Guantanamo Bay, the U.S. naval base in Cuba where captives from Afghanistan, Iraq and other fronts in the so-called War on Terror were interned.
Nocult- Bush ordered torture of Quantanimo inmates , this is true. And thatnk God he did. He shpuld have done it more often. Liberal aholes like you have no idea what goes on. Just like that Clown Obama. Swore he'd close gitmo until he realized the importance.. F off
There was a recent plan submitted to congress and voted on recently that wasn't approved as it needed 60 % of the votes and it received just over 50%. The plan was going to convert our trucking fleet to natural gas and within about 4 years we would reduce our foreign oil dependence by about 70%. Special interest unfortunately convinced the GOP not to support it. In the picture I cant't tell if the ships are Iran's fishing fleet or navy.
