One wonders why they might be fed up with us, eh?

It's not enough that dubya invaded and then marked time instead of finishing the job and chose to go head-hunting in Iraq instead. 11 years we've been occupying them as a result...

But our presonnel, in addition to their sacrifice, have made some very large and stupid mistakes in regards to winning the hearts of the population.

Many here call the Afghanis "animals" and such. How civilized do you think they view urinating on corpses to be, for example? Or burning their "sacred" text like yesterday's garbage?

I'm sure they feel that these are not acts of a civilized people...understandably so.

The utter lack of respect for another religion's holy text in the middle of an extremely sensitive war loaded with ill will to begin with, is ridiculously negligent on the part of whomever told our guys to burn the Qurans in the garbage heap. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! First, our guys are pissing on dead bodies, desecrating HUMAN BEINGS; now, we've got them BURNING what is effectively the Muslim bible!? Blatantly disregarding the human dignity of the Afghan people is NOT keeping our guys safe. It's putting lives in jeopardy. To the (hopefully) few U.S. military men/women who are making these incredible errors in judgment: GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER! YOU'RE PUTTING YOUR FELLOW SOLDIERS IN DANGER!!

We should just pull out and the sooner the better. Osama is dead. We do not need to have even one more young American killed in this pointless, neverending conflict which is really about controlling resources and making money anyway.

Indeed.. If we're there to bring peace, it seems a lost cause. The Quran, far from being something due a great deal of respect, is almost solely responsible for the larger conflict, as demonstrated in the standard "Death to America" reaction. Simple study shows it to be inherently destructive. Like old Viking tales of Valhalla, it indoctrinates young men that the only way to eternity is to die spilling the blood of the enemy - and that ANYONE not in the House of Islam (meaning Submission) is in the House of War. You are the enemy no matter why you are in their land. Short of murder, they are compelled to bring others under submission, and to deceive if necessary to do so (Mo himself demonstrated and authorized this doctrine). Not one of these practices is worthy of respect, and any apology offered should be done with this caveat.

The war in Afghanistan has absolutely nothing to do with controlling resources or making money!

Great, now is the right time to burn more holy books. Keep them burning, the riot population should read and debate their holy books on-line anyway. Just burn them all.

The Republicon neo cons wanted to build a pipeline across Afghanistan so that they could move oil from the Caspian area and by pass Russia. We even appointed an ex Unocal executive to be president of Afghanistan.

Let's face it, all of out terrorist acts in the middle east are for control of oil supplies. The right wing corporate media (with a lot of help from the Bush Crime Family) brainwashed people that it was somehow about 911. What a scam.

Wrong again, noloyalist. Nothing we do is ever for the purpose of causing terror in the hearts and minds of people. It sure has nothing to do with oil either. Do you remember 9-11-2001?

Noloyalist, explain why then people like Youcef Nadarkhani are sentenced to be executed just for being a Christian? Why are thousands of non-Muslims beheaded every year for being "war Criminals" just simply because they say they don't believe in the Quran?

Republicans don't want crap from Afganistan... They had worked for years to prevent Russians from controlling the area. Who do you think provided the means to hold off Russian in the 1980's?

Besides, you really need to study the geographical area. Not likely they are going to try and transport oil to IRAN??? In order to utilize the Caspian Sea, they would need to go through Iran or Russian... now what was I reading.. oh yeah.. Iran currently hates our guts and doesn't want us near their borders...

Noloayisti, u need to quit with the anti-American, Pro-Islam lies.

Afghanistan was just another scam by the oil corporations using their taxpayer funded military and American's lives to build their pipeline. Just see the PNAC documents and you will see the neo con Republicon plot to do all this.
