Well they are not interrogating me thank goodness. Whoever they are talking to about this are more than likely quite uncomfortable. Ahmadjehads first order, arrest the usual suspect had to be ignored. The usual suspects had been interrogated before and were no longer available. Ahmadjehads second order, arrest somebody you don't like, was carried out and they all "willingly" confessed. Oh well, don't go hiking in Iran.

Iran still doesn't get it.

Nuclear weapons for them is not an option.

Like a spoiled 7 year old throwing a temper tantrum they point the finger at everything and everybody but themselves.

Shutting off their oil money is a big step. It's designed to show how serious we are at getting that message through to them. We could just bomb their facilities but we aren't yet. We are still bending over backwards trying to get through to them.

They don't get it because they are delusional. They are imbalanced. They are psycho-religious fanatics. They don't get it because of the very reasons we don't want them to have the bomb in the first place.

What a sad situation. Iran has to do everything the hard way.

I think a seven year old with a big gun would pose a danger to anyone who sassed it. Point is, who is the out of control youngster in regards to the topic of the story, a topic which you neatly avoided?

Actually, you missed the point.

Does it matter?

Pick who's side your on and stand by them.

Or is that too adult for you?

This isn't a game we are playing with Iran.

Good comment. Hopefully, shutting off their income from oil will bring them around, but I'm concerned that they are so delusional and hubristic that they will attack our ships in or near the Strait of Hormuz. If they do, then it wouldn't surprise me if we countered by bombing some of their nuclear development sites - and Israel would probably join us. I don't think that Israel has bombs/missiles with bunker buster capability, but we must have. As a side note, if Iran attacks us on the ocean and the scenario I described above happens, then I think it makes certain that President Obama will be re-elected.

The victim was closely monitored by Iran.

It strains credibility to think that anyone NOT from Iran could have gotten close enough to do this.

Iran could arrest anyone and get whatever confession they need.

It is not a surprise that they are doing just that.

Iran is a police state with very clear, stated intent.

Believing what they say is a waste of time.

They'll only understand strength.

The killing has sparked outrage in Iran, and state TV broadcast footage Saturday of hundreds of students marching in Tehran to condemn Roshan's death and calling for the continuation of the country's disputed nuclear program.

"Students" my butt. Whenever Iran says that "students" are protesting, they mean anyone under 40 they could manage to round up at a moment's notice. Just like in the US, college students in Iran tend to be more liberal minded and many, if not most, would not be in favor of Iran's nuke program.

You're probably right. Their comments about students make me believe that the demonstrations they are talking about were engineered. From my reading of recent news from Iran, real students are more likely to be leaders of the groups of Iranian citizens complaining bitterly about fraud in the last election. (At least, I hope they are.)

Where did you get this theory from? It's the most bizarre comment I've seen in a blog. If the persons that were arrested could have been accused of being Americans, don't you think the officials would have blared that over their state run news channels, and probably paraded the poor jamokes who have been arrested in front of the cameras. and what is your rationale for believing that Israel would like the US to start a nuclear war with Iran. that sounds like Bushian logic - the kind of hip shooting that our 43rd president engaged in. You must be a believer in conspiracy theories.

you mean 'being tortured" ! ! !

Sad what goes on in this world. I'm NOT sorry to say we need more religion in the world and NOT extremist.

For example: Jesus preached, peace, love, forgiveness.

To bad humans resort to 'Nationalism" which Einstein said was 'bad'.

We just need more love in the world and random acts of kindness.

I'm sure they arrested someone but that it is the real attackers? Not a chance. They couldn't catch themselves. Whomever they arrested will have been done for political reasons. They have no law enforcement apparatus but clerics and they are not known for their legal acumen. This will be another side show which is all this sorry regime is capable of putting on.

If you think Mossad is too good to get caught, you're wrong. They bungled the assassination of Al-Mabhouh, and now dozens of them are on Interpol's most-wanted list.
