Israel has a very capeable military. If they're concerned about a nuclear weapon, they should handle it. They're quite capeable. We don't need to bail them out, so why the hell are we trying to start a fight with Iran? We don't need another war...
The only reason to go into Iran is to pre-emptively defend Israel from a nuclear attack.

The only reason the US would have to intervene in affairs in that region is oil. The only reason we've sent any military to that region over the past 25 years is because of our interests in oil, regardless of whether they admit it.

Who is "we" the minority that lost the last election? The Iranian people might not like their leadership, but they certainly won't like us bombing them. One of the best ways for an unpopular government to win over the people is to make them feel threatened by outside sources, sort of like the BS about Iraq having nukes and mobile chemical labs.
