True - We can't prevent Iran's leadership from making a choice today. But if they make the wrong one, we can absolutely prevent them from ever making another. If they have any wisdom, they'll already be quite aware of that fact, although they'll never admit it.

Dearest Iran,
We fought and won all-out naval wars in the Atlantic and the Pacific simultaneously. Find something else to make yourselves feel good about, because this threat makes us pee our pants.
Sincerely,
The United States Navy

Israel has a very capeable military. If they're concerned about a nuclear weapon, they should handle it. They're quite capeable. We don't need to bail them out, so why the hell are we trying to start a fight with Iran? We don't need another war...

Since when did the USA military EVER bail Israel out ?

Israel has defended herself and by herself in every war.

I can't say the same for the Arabs.

and Fedup.......you failed to mention the billions in military aid to Arab countrys like Egypt,Jordan,Saudi Arabia,Qatar,Bahrain,UAR, etc.

I can't imagine why you single Israel out but then again

The only reason to go into Iran is to pre-emptively defend Israel from a nuclear attack.

And by the way, smc021-2009... check your calendar. It's just about 2012. Not 1969. Israel is more than capeable of protecting its interests currently.

The only reason the US would have to intervene in affairs in that region is oil. The only reason we've sent any military to that region over the past 25 years is because of our interests in oil, regardless of whether they admit it.

NO, The people in Iran do NOT like the leadership. We allow a new Arab Uprising. Kinda like we don't like Obama."

Who is "we" the minority that lost the last election? The Iranian people might not like their leadership, but they certainly won't like us bombing them. One of the best ways for an unpopular government to win over the people is to make them feel threatened by outside sources, sort of like the BS about Iraq having nukes and mobile chemical labs.
