Israelis have turned their backs on God for a long time now, they just don't realize it.
I've read those old testament writings and its' true, Israel was founded on bloodshed. They just claim it was God that told them to do it.
That is how Israel was founded, and we see today the tradition of bloodshed hasn't changed, even after all the holocausts they had to endure as a result of idolatry, they worshiped Baal at the time of Solomon. They were thrown out of the land for it.
Today's Israel is full of idolatry, they don't even follow the customs the ancient Israelis were required to do when they were a favored peoples.
