I'll speak to my mother about that prayer request. Generally speaking, the quickest way to a drought is for me to pray for rain.

Maybe I should pray for Kim Jong Il's health -- hehehehehe.

No, he decided that if his ship were searched in Myanmar the local junta would just take the weapons for themselves.

I agree with this possible scenario. The one thing still in the offing would be if China tells NK, that they aren't in a position to be challenging the entire world at the same time and holds the shipment in eskrow for a later time. Pyongyang doesn't know when to yap and when to be quiet.

I agree with the poster who said China offered to take the "cargo" and deliver it themselves to circumvent the UN sanctions.

Obama has been played the fool again.

"Obama has been played the fool again."

Wouldn't that depend on what China does with the cargo???

First someone should stop USA for threatening other countries.

Oh, nice profanity there dartplayer501. Typical liberal.

PROVE TO ME that this event was the result of ANYTHING Obama did.

Sorry, but the international news tells a different story of the world's opinion of Obama. Perhaps you're living in ignorance because you can't handle the truth.

Now watch the Obamabots try to take credit for it, as if Obama had anything to do with it.

N Korea laughs at Obama.

N Korea is just responding to pressure from the OTHER COUNTRIES that still project an image of strength.

We lost our membership in that club on Day 1.

That's enough out of you kim.

Void_Master - Thanks for joining the fray. I agree completely, and yes, those who are of a praying mind, should be adding those two ladies to their lists.

Joe - I seem to remember that when everything was tanking at the beginning of the year you were blaming Obama then. I said at the time, when things turn around later in the year, I hope you'll blame him for that as well. Well thing are turning round as I pointed out, yet now you're saying this has nothing to do with Obama. HOW COME???

I have to admit that I am impressed. Over the years, I cannot think of any other time in which I have seen North Korea back down quite as obviously as they are now. And somehow, I just can't wrap my head around the idea that Mr. Kim did it to make Obama look good. No... Obama basically ignored Kim's squirrelly little azz, depriving him of the benefits he expected from his latest temper-tantrum.

My only real concern is for those two female reporters NK is holding hostage. I would not be surprised if at least one of them gets shot trying to escape.

That's exactly what Shrub would have done, and if there's anything that would actually get NK actually using its sabers it would be a dumb move like that.
