Iranian Opposition Leader's Web Site Urges Mass Rally In Direct Challenge To Country's Religious, Political Leadership
- They do - they're saying we should butt out, let the religious nutjob take it, ignore the votes.

- It's refreshing to see protests in Iran that are not aimed at America and American interests, but at the same time, it's funny how we're somehow getting all of this blam from Ahmadigawhatever for "meddling"

- So do I, thinkharder, so do I!! I have great respect for the Iranian people and admire their courage and passion! It's too bad more Americans did not show their courage and passion throughout the past decade.
Instead we were lied to regarding a war, and have allowed our freedoms to be chipped away piece by piece, beginning with eavesdropping on innocent American's phone conversations....all legalized under the Bush Administration!
We should be thankful that we still have the freedom to be posting our thoughts on this message board without fear today.
I also agree 100% with Berkeley_Skirt_Lifter's post. And I can only hope that I will not be branded a traitor under this administration simply because I might not always agree with our current President Obama....unlike what I experienced under our previous administration, and former president, Bush!! - Reply to this comment

The only way to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons is to bomb their reactors.

But not their detractors though right?
Instead of bombing their reactors, let's send in those missile drones on suicide missions. - Reply to this comment
- I think the mullahs have reshuffled the deck one too many times. The demographics alone make this current form of government uusustainable.

- At what point do we draw the line on futile interference? The proper course for Obama, which he initially followed, would have been to say nothing, send the customary congrats to the victor dictated by diplomatic protocol, and move on. He has now entered into yet another quagmire, on the wrong side and with no positive outcome even possible. Does anyone actually imagine that this election will be overturned (as if swapping one terrorist for another is a good move)? If Obama wants to establish a dialogue, then he should act like it, not cave to yet another populist position and start another meddling quarrel with Ahmadinejad. But he simply cannot stop 'campaigning', because he knows nothing else.

- You would think that "Conservatives" in the USA would heartily endorse the current government in Iran:
religion based dictatorship and suppression of "liberal" young people.
Sounds like heaven. - Reply to this comment
