You left out a couple of significant events

2006 North Korea (BUSH's Watch) explodes what appears to be a nuclear device however intelligence estimates are that it fizzled --

Subsequent to the detonation Bush negotiates the treaty mentioned (2006) that was broken by the detonation and as part of the treaty unfreezes North Korean assets in the US that get transferred to North Korea in CASH.

How much of that cash was used and how much did it speed up North Korean efforts that led to the latest test? I would guess significantly.

Thank God we have Obama. I'm sure he'll go right over there and give Kim a big hug and everything will be fine. After all, we don't want to be too harsh to those who violate those pesky UN resolutions.

You're right.

We must invade N. Korea immediately.

Of course, we'll need to start the draft up. And force our veterens, who've served multiple tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan to remain active duty.

Now all he has to do is implement his little commie militia through the Give Act and the Serve America Act, and disarm us all....

And the tenets of the communist manifesto will also be completed.

Yeah, and his COMMUNIST tsunami will have done with America. Completely.

Hey, I'm an organizer in my local serve America chapter, do you think we'll get brown shirts soon?

Wait, that was the Nazis. What do communists wear?

Please don't lump the debaucle in Iraq with Afghanistan, which was in retaliation for 9/11, and the right thing to do.

Why didn't Dudya deal with the N. Korea situation when he could have. Now, an invasion of N, Korea will involve the loss of whole divisions due to N. Korea's new nuclear capabilities.

Dubya really made the world a lot more safe... not!

It was certainly more safe last year than it is this year....ya hootie.

Yeah, it's Bush's fault that N. Korea's leader is hostile to the rest of the world.

U.N. Plans New Resolution On N. Korea..............Security Council Says Test Violated Existing Resolutions; Test Prompts Worldwide Condemnation.

What was Clinton & the UN thinking when they allowed N. Korea Nuclear Plans to Build Centrifuges, Power Plants.

Same question here?? President Barack Obama has approved plans for the U.S. to help the United Arab Emirates become the first Arab nation with a nuclear power industry that will fuel the country's growing demand for electricity.

Obama's official backing of the pact, known as a "123 agreement," is praised by pro-business groups that say U.S. companies are now in the running for major construction work connected to the $41 billion project.

The president's approval comes a few weeks after news organizations, including The Associated Press, obtained a videotape showing a member of the country's royal family torturing a man.

The videotape led to criticism of the emirates' human rights record in the midst of an intense debate over U.S. interrogation methods.

Concerns have also been raised about the emirates' history as a transshipment point for sensitive technology moving into Iran. A small but vocal group of lawmakers have said they'll oppose the deal unless the United Arab Emirates takes stronger action to keep Iran from obtaining materials that could help it develop nuclear weapons.

N Korea should be told to join the human race and reunite with S Korea... or else.
Posted by ubrew12

I agree, but is China ready for that step? We're lucky they haven't forced the issue on Tawian, can the UN, or the US even make the unification/elimination of Lil' Kim suggestion?
Posted by gravyboat45 at 6:37 PM :

Well now that the Chinese have trillions borrowed to us......maybe we should just say that we are planning to ignite a war which will plummet the value of the dollar making the Trillions they borrowed us worth a heck of a lot less.......not to mention making their goods seem that much more expensive. I mean we probably are their biggest customer.....isn't the customer always right?

gravyboat45 said: " the Chinese... can influence him, and talk him down."

They should offer him and top management a buy-out, or targeted death if refused. It's time to reunite the Korea's, and China can do it. They aren't really communist anyway, they use capitalism to pick up their GDP where necessary. N Korea should be told to join the human race and reunite with S Korea... or else.
Posted by ubrew12

China......well perhaps that will happen..........I mean I'm sure that the Chinese have a hell of a bigger vested interest in the USA and UN than they do with North Korea.

Umm, let's see I believe Kim Jong did one...and now with the limp wristed commie he's done quite a few...

But again, what else is new?
Posted by WeeWillowWinkle

He tested several missile, including one that went over Japan. He also tested nuclear bombs, at least once during Bush's 8 years.

What did Bush do? What could he do? It's not a partisan issue.

If you post that partisan crap, one more time...I'll SWUN!
