Time for a little history lesson. During the Korean War the "North" was actually winning until we stepped up the pressure. The best that we could do was fight them to a standstill at the loss of approximately 34,000 American lives. It should be noted that General Giap of North Vietnam read the Korean "playbook" and improving on their methods won the Vietnam War at the loss of 50,000 American lives. When we began invading little helpless Nations like "Grenada", "Panama" and little excursions like the "Bay of Pigs", other nations that were not inclined to do our bidding became nervous. Due to Israels cache of Nuclear weapons and their refusal to abide by any one of the 86 UN Resolutions against them well, who cares about the UN and their "Resolutions". When You label a country as "Evil" you have put them on notice. When you engage in unjustified pre-emptive attacks against a country that did not, and could not attack you, well you make it "MANDATORY" that the acquisition of a Nuclear deterrent is necessary. I would want at least one "Nuke" to let the bigger players know that you may wipe us out, but there will be a significant price to pay. As a Vietnam War veteran I know that once the shooting starts, you don't stop until you run out of bullets.

Replace "N. Korea" with "Iran" and change the year to 2011 to see where our present methods are leading.

TALK TALK TALK, just like after they exploded the first bomb and just like after they launched an ICBM. It isn't even worth bringing up in the UN unless they are prepared to go in and stop them or WE SHOULD SHUT UP...

Perhaps N. Korea's Kim, like Ahmadinejad, is simply seeking some 'lip service' from Obama.

North Korea is playing big time poker, its obvious that the U.S. can't do anything about this without China's consent, its time to just stop the globalization and go back to a cold war; otherwise, we will continue to feed the dragon that provides the backdraft.

You're right.

We must invade N. Korea immediately.

Of course, we'll need to start the draft up. And force our veterens, who've served multiple tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan to remain active duty.

Served my 30 years. I know everybody wants to blame Bush for everything but didn't this start under Clinton? If Clinton would have done what needed to be done, than maybe we wouldn't be dealing with this again. But I forget the Democrats are like the UN, they want to talk everything to death while those they are talking to keep spitting in their face. Another resolution we be declared and North Korea will continue to do what they have been doing since Clinton. The world might wake up when they actually nuke someone but I wouldn't count on it.

THE UN IS MAKING ANOTHER RESOLUTION.
BASED ON PAST PERFORMANCE--THIS IS A REALLY FEARFUL AND INTIMIDATING THING!!!!!

So how many resolutions from the UN actually equal something of substance? The UN is to busy fleecing the US taxpayers to do anything important. Not that they could do anything even if they wanted too.

It will be less than 2 years from now, and WW-3 will happen. Obama isn't the falt, it was there when he took office, it was their from 1951 with Truman. Clinton was the one that let the N Koreans to get their hands on this so called fuel. Truman, Clinton now Obama, and they say that Bush was a bad Presdent, well we will see!!!.
