Hey dad, your son murdered five innocent people. Stop trying to make excuses for your son's inexcusable and criminal actions.

Of course, after 3 tours of duty in Iraq, already going through counseling for stress, and his commanding officer takes his weapon.

Of course this is just a simple case of murder, right?

Never mind all the soldiers that are coming home and committing suicide, right?

There's no stress in war, "nut it up son", right?

You people are pathetic.

2 days of B.S. from a couple of officers and he chooses to start capping his fellow soldiers? There's a lot more to the story than this little bit.
He had a restraining order, failed to pay child support, and a misdemeanor assault charge (against who? his ex?) is paraded out to show exactly what?

Now we get another generation of walking time bombs out on our streets. What is the Army doing about it? Not much. Check the police blotters for crimes by people messed up by the war.

My uncle (a decorated Vietnam veteran) once told me that Hollywood did not create the wacked out Vietnam vet, the Vietnam war did.

This case smacks of another Texas connected case. On April 18th I think it was CBS 48 Hours Mysterys aired a case on a military murder that happened outside Boerne, Texas involving someone with mental health issues. It was the most bizzare case you will ever see, I guarantee you it will blow your mind. I'm going to monitor this blog to see if any of you get a chance to review that show, the transcript and the video of that nights broadcast is on The 48 Hours Mysterys Website. You can go into it from this website. I would urge you all to watch or read that transcript and you will see the military like you've never seen it before. And you'll see Texas Justice like you've never seen it before. Guaranteed. The name of that show was "The Curious Case of Colonel Shue" Absolutely fascinating.

This case smacks of another sensational case, involving Texas no less. CBS 48 Hours Mysterys aired it on April 19th or near that date. The transcript of that show and the video is on The CBS 48 Hours Website. Its called "The Curious Case of Colonel Shue" I guarantee you that case will blow your ever loving mind. It is one of the most bizarre cases I've ever read about. And all this happened in Texas. I'm going to monitor this blog to see if any of you take me up on my offer and read about that case, that has parallels to this case.

To be honest, I think Bush/Cheney will wind up in The Hague, charged with War crimes. I really believe that will happen. If it doesn't, they for sure will see everyone of those soldiers killed over there and the ones who have been severly injured, I'm not 100% certain, but I think this war has produced the greatest number of amputees ever. All those resources put out over there should have went into chasing Al-qaida in to a corner. I think Obama will get this done, and get us out of Iraq.
I understand theres a tremendous amount of soldiers having mental health issues, after serving over there, again another statistic that exceeds past wars. You would think all those numbers would be lower, since all these people voluntarily join. In other words they know what they're doing when they sign on the dotted line. I feel for those 5 soldiers killed, this guy had 6 more weeks to go before completing his tour, so that just about tells you the type of stress he was under. I think he was just emotinally fragile to begin with, and just didn't have that mental toughness it takes to survive in the Army and in life period. May God have mercy on his soul.

I've always supported my son's decision to serve in the military for there is no higher calling.

It's obvious, to me,.....from your postings, that you have "a real rage" for the military and it's "leaders". Why then would you want to encourage/support your son's decision to stay in ....?
