"Netanyahu Vows Continued Peace Efforts"

Sheesh.

So did Hitler.

His brother in arms.

A sad testimony to the inheritance and scar of brutality and terror.

And I mean that most sadly, and sincerely.

For I love all people, Atheist, Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Hindu, and a plethora of others, alike.

"Israel has always, and today more than ever, striven to reach full peace with the entire Arab and Muslim world," he said.

It's a wonder his teeth didn't fall right out of his mouth.....

Benjamin Netanyahu, taking office as Israel's new leader, promised to seek "full peace" with the Arab and Muslim world...

Netanyahu speaking about peace is as ludicrous as Madoff speaking about honesty...

What could possibly be the reason he wants to negotiate, and what less than statehood could a Palestinian people prefer?

If there is a continued 8 year stall, it is because the Israeli lobby in the US has been funded to support pro-Israel candidates for office and use the US veto vote on the security council to deny the creation of a Palestinian State without Israeli approval.

Israel was created in 1948 by the UN.....time for Palestine to have this avenue since there has been none through negotiations.

A 2-state Apartheid solution will fail.

Hillary Clinton should press for a 1-state solution and the Palestinians having patience to wait out their populations overtaking the Israelis which will force the Palestinians to take over the Israeli government.

Israel and BiBi may be uncomfortable with a Palestinian State, but once the Palestinians have something solid to lose I think the Palestinians will calm down and enjoy a peace with Israel like Egypt has. Israel would be within its rights to negotiate up front a limit to the number and kinds of arms a Palestinian State could acquire, sort of an arrangement like Taiwan has with the U.S., with a limit to defensive weapons only and within reason.
