No, but perhaps some direct diplomacy with a balance of benefits for not killing 6 million, and a strong deterent to doing so (as in we''''ll fire bomb Dresden and invade Berlin and take your country from you) would have done the trick.

- I never understood the Bush mantra of not having dialogue with Iran. Even is they''re considered "enemies", does not the old saying go "keep your friends close, and your enemies closer"?

And that is the only reason why Ahmadinejad wants to ''interview'' the President.
This squinty-eyed serpent just wants to find out if President Obama will agree to reverse (or weaken) the US policy of support and aid to Israel. We are Israel`s formidable and perhaps her only ally in the west.
Ahmadinejad`s idea of `fighting terrorism` is wiping Israel off the map while the US remains `neutral` because we are too busy licking our economic wounds to fight another war. Perhaps he will include oil as a bargaining chip.

Why cant they stop the FOREIGN MUSLIM SLIME from posting on CBS? I have always felt that much of the comments on here MUST be foreigners trying to stir the pot. That is the only way they make themselves feel like something other than the pitiful dogs they resemble.
