The US didn''t use nukes in anger - it was a very calculated decision made to bring the war to a quick end in an effort to minimize U.S. (primarily) and also Japanese casualties (extended conventional bombing was calculated to be at least as damaging and maybe more damaging than the nuclear blasts). That''s not anger. It may have been wrong, but it wasn''t anger.

Remember how well Iran treated a well meaning meek Christian, Jimmy Carter? Remember how quickly Iran set our people free after Ronald Reagan was elected?
The Key here is STRENGTH. Peace through strength and humility.

Don''t forget dialogue and respect.

The Key here is STRENGTH. Peace through strength and humility. Foreign entities know how quickly the American people will abandon and ridicule their own president. SO they will now peacefully distract us until they are ready to remove Israel.

Obama should remember to

"So, instead of keeping dialogue with them going, what are you suggesting? That we turn our backs on them and let them proceed? "....No, action must be taken to stop them if they refuse to give up their ambition. Military action. If military action is not used, they will have their nuclear weapons. Do you want Iran to have nuclear weapons? Is that a good idea?

--

Well we cut dialogue with North Korea. Next thing you know...they announce they have nuclear weapons. They we restart diaglogue and they deactivate the weapons. So I don''t see how dialogue and firm negotiating can hurt.

Military action will only turn Ahmadinejad into a hero and rallying point for further belligerance against the west.

And...even if Iran has a nuclear weapon (Israel has dozens) what are they going to do? Use it????

Can you say...KA-BLAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM to Tehran?

No country has ever used nucelar weapons in anger.

Well I mean besides the US.

You have heard that it was said, ''You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.'' But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.

Or the Crusades and invasion of Iraq? So much hate. When is someone going to do as Jesus commanded?

Talking with as the Europeans have done for a long time, only buys them more time to get what they want.
