Peace would create a collapse due to the artificial creation of its racist society (arab jews vs european) and the amazing level of corruption of its leaders ( Sharon / Olmert ). Israel survives because of the millions poured into it by the USA, and contribution of jews all over the word.

This seems to be the favorite excuse of Zionists to justify Israeli terrorism and the slaughter of women and children.
But the fact is that the only group that we know of, FOR SURE, with a chronic policy of hiding behind Human Shields, are the Israelis themselves- proven, beyond a shadow of a doubt, before their own Supreme Court.

The Israelis often attempt to attribute this practice to their adversaries, as an excuse to justify their own crimes and atrocities, and always without any substantial support.
One thing is for sure, though- that the Israelis have no standing to criticize anyone for using this tactic, since they so eagerly embrace this practice themselves.

- Day in and day out I watch as the Palestinian casualties increase in number. And what I have become strikingly aware of is that the percentage of those causalities %uFDD3%uFDD3 according to the news %uFDD3%uFDD3 continues to stay at 50% civilians.
That means that among those casualties, 50% are combatants %uFDD3%uFDD3 Hamas. Realizing that such a ruthless war machine is hot on their collective azzes, have they not the decency to get away from their own civilian population?

- If Israel wants its children to be happy and live in peace, they should work with the palestinians and give their right to live peacefully with enough economic prosperity. That is the only solution which will bring peace to the region.

People were given Palestinian identification under the British Mandate. This included Jews, Muslims, Christians...everyone living in the land, including the Palestine Post newspaper which is now the Jerusalem Post. Under the Ottomans it was called Greater Syria, Syria today still claims all of that area as it own. There never was a Palastinian between between 135 AD when Rome destroyed the Israeli nation and 1948 when the UN partitioned the land. In fact there never was a sovereign nation of any kind between those dates, the land belonged to outside Empires who viewed the land as theirs. From the Byzanine Empire, Caliphate of Bagdad the last owners of the area the Ottoman Turks. The Arabs moved in under the Muslim invasion of the Middle East. - Reply to this comment

This could be the longest 10 days in history. I just wish it was over and we knew. That''s tragic really. Having 53% of the USA vote a man in not caring what his views were.
Although I really don''t like the idea that Alaska has capped off natural gas so that we don''t have an abundance of it. Now my gas bill was $350 this month and I keep my one level house at 62 degrees!!
So I really was worried no matter which bungler was going to take office. I would like to see another party or two come into play. Israel has a better system. They have many parties and if a president can''t get enough people together to agree, then they elect ANOTHER president. They are in this dilima right now, Livney can''t get a government together so they are having another election either next month or the month after.
