- In 1948, most of those "arabs states" were using WWI era rifles from horseback, fighting the Israeli army with the latest US military technolgies.
In 1967, the Egyptians were using WWII era russian tanks, and were slaughtered by the thousands by the latest US military supplied jet fighters, that the Israeli air force used.
