What Israel is doing will not result in any such peace. It will be viewed as the bully. If anything it will result in a negative peace: peace resulting out of forced submission, not a change of heart. Such peace is rarely long lasting. The Palestinians will find a way to punish Israelis. And then you will all be back here to claim that the Israelis should just wipe them out.

If we applied your logic to Germany and Japan, we would not gone to war. We defeated them, forced them to adopt new governments and to live peacefully. Actually no, I have found that when people do their own research they come away with a better understanding of the subject. I studied the Quran expecting to find what Muslims said I would find, A religion that taught love and tolerance. What I found was very different. I wanted to believe them, I wanted to believe that they were innocent.

You are right. The Israelies should not allow anything into Gaza until the Palestinians declare unconditional peace. Cut off all aid to Israel and let them be free to solve the Palestinian problem. It surprises me that we agree. Apparently diolog is good.
