Returning to the topic, there seems to be some confusion here about who uses Human Shields, so I would like to repost the following comment for clarity:

Gaza is a densely populated area, and they have been blockaded in illegally for some time now, by the Israelis. They are not "hiding" there. It''s where they live.

Of course, Hamas did not do this, and the only group known to have a proven chronic policy of using Human Shields are the Israelis themselves, as I have already established.

The Israelis always seem to offer this pathetic excuse when they are targeting and killing civilians. We saw the very same excuse offered in Lebanon, in 2006, just before the Israelis were kicked out of there in defeat and disgrace.

The same could be said about Americans and our current rulers.

Unlike our current rulers, however, Hamas was legitimately and democratically elected as the majority government leadership of their people, the Palestinians.
