The best way to solve the Gaza problem is to have Israel count the number of rockets that hit them every day, then fire that number of rockets back into Gaza the following day. Since quantity, not quality, seems to be the crucial factor in responding to aggression, Israel could use rather large rockets without upsetting the world community.

While I think that type of reasoning makes sense with regards to the world community, what it does is allow us to think like a terrorist, respond with terrorism, and become terrorist ourselves. While terrorism, like conventional warfare, both involve death, terrorism also seeks to instill the fear of death into daily life through random acts of violence.

Unleashing countries to fight wars using the methods of terrorism would either be nilihism or anarchy for the world.
