Israel and Arab Palestine were two nations created by the UN legally and peacefully. Most other nations were created by warfare and a surrender of one side or the other, USA, Russia, Germany, India and Pakistan, China, Iran, Vietnam...etc.
When they were both created by the UN they had the opportunity to coexist side by side peacefully. One side choose war in 1948 and it has never given up on war as the solution, along with 4 other Arab state who are still officialy at war with Israel.
