- He left his comrades to save his own bung. The war was wrong but an army can''t have deserters that don''t get punished. i wouldn''t want him in my unit, he''d run and leave us behind when it got tough and would probably sell us out if he got caught.

- google hydro-power, most have a filtration system that crosses a river or what ever body of water being used and OBVIOUSLY the fish would have to go through it

The hydro electric system used on this grid diverts a small portion of water from a river to a dam. From the dam, water runs to a canal then to the power station. I never see any dead fish in the canal, river, dam or power spillway. (And I fish all four regularly.) - Reply to this comment

Mike they can always quite the all volunteer service, they just have to ask. The problem is that they will loose all their free college and benifits by doing so.
They hope in signing up that they will fall through the cracks during any conflict and they will not have to defend anything except their tooth brush. Then when they get out, they have their benifits. They want something for nothing like most Liberals. - Reply to this comment

- What a shame before it was the United States of America that granted asylum to those in need now our own are fleeing this country for asylum in other countries. That should say something to America.
