- A grand total of 2 actual Americans killed out of 195 dead, in attacks that were supposedly targeting Americans in particular.
Even if this were not a CIA/Mossad orchestrated event, this group is not a very formidable threat against US citizens if the best that they could do was two dead Americans total.

You find an terror friendly Muslim country, no shortage of these, you build a base and all the logistics needed, communications, money, bank accounts, weapons, training etc. Usually with a lot of under the table help from the Muslim goverment; in Syria''s case they allow Muslim Terrorists to be in their yellow pages, Hamas and Hezbollah.
You attack and kill people from your safe haven with impunity. After the attacks the friendly under the table terror sponsering goverment denies any responsibilty, protesting they are doing their best to not let terrorist us their country. The West with 2 exception has never figured out what to do about this, because we look at everything through the eyes of an ACLU lawyer and a Liberal media.
The two large exceptions were the plane hyjacking by Muslim terrorist to Entebbe Uganda/Idi "Big Dadda" Amin which Israel took care of brilliantly. The second was Al Quaeda/Taliban/Afghanistan after 911, which Bush/CIA took care of brilliantly. America did right to fight taliban in afganistan... but you know all talibans and other terrorist organizaton get training from Pakistani ISI and military....
