- More religious terrorists.
Whether it be the Christan Crusades or Muslim Jihadists, this axiom rings true:
Religion poisons everything.

- causey: Case in point, Iran was a big U.S. ally until Jimuh Carter. In many ways he is the Godfather of modern muslim terrorism.

No he is not, he supported the Sha of Iran because he defended American companies in Iran, oil companies specifically, and the muslim extremists who were also nationalists decided to overthrow the Sha, who was no different from any torturer you could find anywhere in latin america or africa supported by any government of the US, the GOP above all. When the Sha was toppled the muslim extremists decided to take american hostages, so Carter decided to send Delta force, who basically failed. When Reagan took power he sent oliver north and gave the iranian weapons and money in exchange for the hostages. Thus betraying their country and demonstrating that the GOP negotiates with terrorists. - Reply to this comment
- Centerfoil94: The proper answer would be D Correct. Liberals have a short memory when it comes to Jimuh ''bentnail'' Carter.

- Voltaire,
Does it ever give you pause to think about all of the charitable work done by religions all around the world? Do you give weight to the lives that have been turned around by an acceptance of faith?
What do you think of Hitler who was specifically anti-religion (especially Judaism and Catholicism)? Are his atrocities any less because they were NOT in the name of God? What about Darfur and Kosovo? Those are not religious....purely ethnic/cultural.
Would you consider the Civil War a "holy war"? Lincoln did refer to God quite a bit......
You see to be very selective about your history and its interpretations....... - Reply to this comment

Wow.... are you
A) Delusional
B) Dumb
or C) Deliberately obtuse
It doesn''t really matter which one you choose... if you think anyone takes you seriously you have a severely diminished capacity to determine reality. - Reply to this comment

You know, that''s the most convenient excuse I''ve ever heard for religion. The absolute refusal by the "faithful" to accept responsibility for any of the terror that is the direct product of their legitimizing religion. The faithful are terrorist enablers, no if''s and''s or but''s! - Reply to this comment

- You have obviously not read "Les Miserables" and absorbed the meaning of it in relation to Providence. Those who commit acts of this nature are not following the path of Providence or the path of mankind.

Okay, so I just went and read Les Miserables, and guess what? These attacks still were not possible without religion, and they were delivered in the name of God, as is the case with many of the most wicked acts committed in this world. Again, "If we believe absurdities, we shall commit atrocities." See, e.g., the Spanish Inquisition. - Reply to this comment

- Any loon in America knows that there is no real threat from Islam, the peaceful religion. This attack was really perpetrated by white anglo Christians whom the CIA had genetically altered and indoctrinated to appear to be Pakistani Jihadists. Thank God Obama is taking office. These self-inflicted attacks by President Bush will cease on January 20, and the subway riders of New York will be able to relax and resume blasting their brains out with their iPods.
