- We will never know what was going on in their heads besides fear for their lives to make them feel thay had no choice but stay with their father. Was there not another person in the household? Maybe the mother was routinely raped and beaten as well. These women are in their 30''s now, based on information in the article. They will never be normal even if they try to live normal lives. The father should not be part of society. What the general public should know is that a child is more likely to be abused sexually by a close relative than by a stranger. There more people than you could imagine who carry the burden of this appalling secret. I hope these women find the support and help they need.
