We do not have the military and/or CIA intelligence available to us to know whether this was a leader or not. In any event, this is one less person to fight for Al Qaeda. We know these fighters live and hide among the civilian populations. Apparently they do not wear military uniforms to identify them. If there is any doubt, my trust goes to our military and not the Syrian government or the locals who may be involved with the Al Qaeda fighters.
