Opec''s statement "SAYS PRICES HAVE WITNESSED A DRAMATIC CALLAPSE UNPRECEDENTED IN SPEED AND MAGNITUDE."

HMMMMMMM, OPEC, DID NOT COMPLAIN WHEN "PRICES WITNESSED A DRAMATIC INCREASE UNPRECEDENTED IN SPEED AND MAGNITUDE."

IT''S TIME FOR AMERICA AND OTHER COUNTRIES TO PUT A STOP OF OPEC''S GREED. THIS CAN BE DONE WITH ONE SIMPLE POLICY. EVERY TIME OPEC, RAISES THE PRICE OF OIL, THE UNITED STATES AND OTHER COUNTRIES SHOULD RAISE THE COST OF CORN, AND OTHER FOOD, TO MATCH THE INCREASE OF OIL. MOST OF THESE OIL CROOKS DEPEND ON THE IMPORTS OF CORN AND OTHER FOOD. IT IS HARD TO GROW CORN IN A DESERT, SO WHEN OPEC, AND IT''S COUNTRIES GET HUNGRY, "LET THEM EAT THEIR OIL."

GOD "BLESS" AMERICA.

We americans pledge to get off forien oil with smaller fuel efficient cars, renewable resources, (wind & solar) and build more nuclear plants to generate electricty, Also drill baby drill. of cource that was when oil was $150 a barrel. Now that it''s down to a more resaonable price under $70 a barrel some the incentives will go by the wayside. Will the automaker in the U.S. go back to their gas guzzlers the cost to drill for more oil now is no longer profitable for Big Oil, it no longer cost effectuve to build alternative energy systems. It will be intersting to see what happens in 2009 with the gobal recession and how it effects the future.

Kick it how? Do you have $60,000 for a new electric car or the $10,000 + to change its batteries every couple of years.
