"By your logic, because Ford was simply completing Nixon%u2019s term he should not be viewed as a single unique, albeit unelected, president." Posted by pat1967

Correct, especially since all he did was follow the Nixon agenda, so he was not unique, and also unelected. it was the Nixon presidential term that Ford finished.

Ten presidential terms does not necessarily ten presidents make. The noun "presidents" specifically refers to the people holding the office, not the terms of office. By your logic, because Ford was simply completing Nixon%u2019s term he should not be viewed as a single unique, albeit unelected, president.

"I support my darling black African woman," he said. "I admire and am very proud of the way she leans back and gives orders to the Arab leaders ... Leezza, Leezza, Leezza. ... I love her very much. I admire her, and I''m proud of her, because she''s a black woman of African origin."

ROFLMAO! I bet that really made "auntie Condoleeza, the female name counterpart to Uncle Tom" Rice angry enough to chew nails.

Who says Khaddafi doesn''t have a brilliant sense of humor? He could work the Apollo theater, every "Black" person in the audience understands what he said, even if the author of this article apparently doesn''t.

As of 2008, measure 4 years times ten, you get ten presidential terms, which while some served multiple terms, still means ten presidents.

Rice does not represent the US, the article calls Libya the 9th largest oil producer. She does not represent me, and I am pretty sure she does not represent you.

She is representing Big oil, and big oil is not America.

She should be at home, preparing for her defense at the war crimes trials.

Condi, the beautiful Black African Woman! Ghadafi knows a hot looking honey when he sees one. Her policies have been absolutely reprehensible, yet she is so beautiful it''s hard for me to criticise her. Yep, here she is, negotiating with known terrorists!

After 8 years in office the only person in the world you can find to be your friend is Gadhafi? The man everyone else in america has hated for the last 30 years? Way to go bush!
And why has Rice been doing ALL of your work lately? Oh, that''s right. Still on vacation.

Talking would be progress under normal circumstances. However, with the current Secretary of State being a graduate of the Don Rickles school of insult diplomacy, I see little chance of real success. President Bush and Secretary have presided over a period where the State Department has largely ignored as a viable contributor to US relations in favor of direct military action. As a result this seldom used agency has been totally ineffective when called upon for real negotiations when absolutely no military options were available. We need a significant change of direction where the State Department is engaged and active before evaluating the potential effects of US actions before violent reactions and has prepared the administration to limit having their efforts made more difficult by an impulsive reaction to an event in the world.
