- "Bush Poised To Punish Russia For Invasion"
Um, why is that?
Invasion of Iraq is okay thought Right?
Typical neo-con double standards. I can''t wait until these thugs are out of office. - Reply to this comment
- The American people are so sick of Bush''s antics that we just don''t care anymore. We just want to take care of our own, feed our families, pay our mortgages and not have to deal with anything else. Enough is enough.

He''s a close friend of Bush ... how do you think he got to be president of Georgia? And who do you think gave him the weapons and training (and $bns in new military bases), and the prod, to invade South Ossetia while Putin was watching the opening ceremony of the olympics? Trouble is, Saakashvilli wont be around much longer, and nor will his pro-Bu$h pal Yuschenko, who''s pro-Bu$h coalition just collapsed. So it increasingly looks like Prick Cheneys plans have backfired. Ukraine and Georgia are all but lost, others are now on the cards ... and Russia will emerge with the EU and China as the new superpowers ... thanks to Bu$h and his Prick Cheney. - Reply to this comment
- McCain will just carry on the same evil that Bush and his band has done with total disregard for America.

- Like China, Russia is on the rise again. America, reeling from 8 years of Bush, is on the decline.
My guess is
1)The Russians will continue to assert themselves in the Crimea and along the Black Sea coast.
2) South Ossetia and Abkhazia will probably vote to secede from Georgia and join Russia, since many of their citizens already hold Russian passports and get nothing but hassles from Georgia.
and 3) the area around Sochi and probably some of Abkhazia will receive economic development from Russian oil and natural gas income and continue to become a resort area to host the 2014 winter Olympics! Yea!
George Bush and the GOP will get a ricochet biscuit! "Have you ever heard of a ricochet biscuit? That''s the kind that''s supposed to bounce back off the wall into your mouth. If it don''t bounce back....you go hungry (bow-bow-bow)." - Reply to this comment
- We all need Russia cooperation in everything,if we want to win the " so called" war on terror but I don`t understand what are they getting from this stupid guy called Skashvilli? Do they want Russia to distribute all American enemies all their nuclaire arsenal??? what do they realy want???

- WHAT?! If this was such a ''landmark deal'', how could he possibly renege on it now?! After all, he has NOTHING to show for 7 2/3 years in office!
So, either it wasn''t the great deal it was initially advertised as---and he was wrong then, or; it IS and
he''s WRONG now for wanting to renege on it! Either way, one things for sure---he clearly decides to do things that HURT America and Americans!
He truly doesn''t do his job or apparently understand what he''s supposed to be doing! I''d accept an insanity plea in an impeachment trial! - Reply to this comment
- HA HA HA HA HA While Prick Cheney is making THE hypocritical statements of the century with regard to respecting sovereign territory, his pals in the Ukraine are jumping ship !! HA HA HA HA HA and now Bu$h thinks he can punish Russia - what an idiot ... it''s they who are punishing you amoeba-brain !! Can america be any more of an international laughing stock ??? HA HA HA HA HA

- Bush will do nothing. He''s an empty suit, a paper tiger, and the Russians know it.
He''ll squawk a lot like the lame duck he is and Putin and Medvedev will mostly just laugh.
Even the EU nations were hesitant to take Bush''s advice and impose any sanctions on Russia because they depend economically on them for oil and natural gas. Could''ve been a long, cold winter if they''d listened to Bush.
The Russians play chess and are the best in the world at it. Bush plays what...marbles? - Reply to this comment

- ...that''s not punishment, that''s just stupid nonsense.
Bush and Darth Cheney hate peace, they hate the "middle-class" they are criminals, Darth Cheney gave the Georgians the "green light" to attack Russians to start the crisis and fullfill his so-called "energy plan" back in 2001.
then Cheney skips the convention to over seas to set more dynamite in Israel and Iran, and Pakistan/Afganistan so he can start WWIII, which was supposed to happened in Georgia.
And yet because some bimbo idiot cheerleader belittles community service in this country, a whole plethora of morons are going to go for more of McSame in November.
That makes alot of sense (sarcasm), I''m not impressed with your blustering rhetoric Mr. Bush, I think you should''ve resigned at the moment you failed to protect this country at 9/11. And ever since then I and countless others have in suspect of you and Cheney for possibly being behind it.
I''ve got my passport and am ready to leave at a moments notice. - Reply to this comment
- Aw, come on Republicans, conservatives, Bush, Cheney, Limbaugh, let''s invade. Russia has more oil in Siberia and other parts of Russia than most countries, if not all countries.
Let''s invade. No draft, so don''t worry you beer-belting Young Republicans in all those fraternities and sororities, you won''t have to go into the military and shower regularly.
WMD, come on chant, WMD, WMD!!! It worked for the first Bush Oil Money War. - Reply to this comment
- Bush the impotent, tries to punish Russia.
Withdrawing the agreement from Capitol Hill would have little actual impact, as the deal very likely would not gain approval during Bush''s presidency.
Ah, another "do nothing" response from GWB. Must not be in oil in the deal! - Reply to this comment

- "Moscow is well aware of US efforts to push forward American imperialist hegemony in eastern Europe.
The US would not allow the Soviet Union to place defensive missiles in Cuba but acts surprised when Russia becomes indignant when the US seeks to implant such missiles in former Soviet/Russian provinces or in nations which used to be a part of the Warsaw Pact.
Russia understands that it must take a defensive stand now or suffer the consequences later of taking a passive stance in regard to American encroachment on Russian territory. Posted by book54552134"
