Please tell me I didn''t just read this!!!!!!! Our
Gulf Coast is still messed up from Katrina, and we
are going to send 1 BILLION dollars to rebuild Georgia???????????

What is wrong with this picture?????? Guess it has
something to do with WHAT??? OH we had trained their
army, and we are all about Freedom.

I am going to go and repair my neighbor''s roof before
I repair mine???

Of course our country is in great shape, we have no
problems here ---- our economy is great, everyone is
working, our kids are being taught in school how to take tests --- not the 3 R''s......gas is back to $1.29
a gallon, our GNP far exceeds our imports, do I need
say more??

AMERICA wake up.........Look Around YOU. REalistically take a good look........we are in deep doo doo, and sinking fast.

God have mercy on our souls.

Laughable. The illegitimate Cheney, who he himself helped orchestrate the illegal invasion and occupation of Iraq, who helped spread the lying propaganda of tying Saddam Hussein with 9/11, has the colossal nerve to wag his finger at Russia for doing far fewer misdeeds.

I can''t wait until Obama and Biden take office next January. Hopefully, war crimes trials will begin shortly thereafter on the unlawful actions the Bush administration has undertaken during the past eight years.

Palin son leaves for Iraq soon in the Army infantry. What do you wanna bet this boy never gets even close to any action or job that could get him killed.
I will be actually surprised if his stay in Iraq isn''t cut short due to the possibility of being kidnapped and being used as a pawn against the US.

All Putin needs to say is "we have evidence of WMDs" and "Georgia is part of our axis of evil", and all will be well. Afterall, that is why Cheney and GWB invaded Iraq.

I wouldn''t put it past Cheney to announce that Russia has weapons and we should invade them!! Hey--he couldn''t get the oil in Iraq--lets try Russia!!

Not his family being killed for oil--they have no conscience or morals, they survive off simple greed and they aren''t risking a thing because they really don''t care what other people think of them, they are that shallow.

Keep an eye on these 2 criminals until November--they will do anything to get another 4 years in office--they have gotten to be pretty predictable!

From the above article, "President Bush on Wednesday announced $1 billion in new economic aid to Georgia to help the pro Western former Soviet republic rebuild after Russia''s invasion."

Cheney says Georgia is a critical interest of the U.S. - I''m 56 and I''ve NEVER heard any mention of Georgia as important to the U.S. - just because Cheney says it doesn''t make it so. Just like Iraq - we never gave a *** about Iraq but suddenly Iraq''s future is CRITICAL to the U.S. - hogwash and lies. Like the offshore drilling - for nearly 8 years the Republicans had the House, the Senate, and the White House - did you hear ANYONE even MENTION offshore drilling ? NOOOO - but suddenly, it''s a crushing need and it''s the DEMOCRATS preventing it ! LIES and more LIES - the oil companies are milking us for all we''re worth, but these Republicans want four more years to let them keep doing it ! What a coincidence that, as the election gets closer, the oil prices are coming down ! Guess that''s the "magic" of the market place ! The U.S. is totally corrupt, thanks to the REPUBLICANS !!!!

The truth is, this is all about control of oil & gas pipelines. The BTC oil pipeline 35 miles from South Ossetia & the Nabucco natural gas pipeline in NW Georgia supply markets in the European Union. In November 2003 the World Bank funded the BTC pipeline to circumvent Russian pipelines supplying europe.

Shareholders in the BTC pipeline are: British Petroleum, AzBTC, Chevron, Statoil, TPAO, ENI, Total, Itochu, INPEX, ConocoPhillips & Amerada Hess.

Russia is the second largest supplier of oil & gas on the planet.
After loosing Iraqi oil to Operation Iraqi Freedom, they negotiated supplies with Iran. The Russians were not happy with Cheneys BTC pipeline or the Caspian Sea Pipelines project going through Afghanistan. This threatens their economy based on oil & gas.

Again it s the Bush administrations lust for money in World markets for their BIG OIL buddies

Sept. 2, 2008 International Herald Tribune reports:

MOSCOW: Russia and Uzbekistan are to build a new natural gas pipeline across Uzbekistan, strengthening Russia s bid to establish control over Central Asian gas exports to the West.

Speaking Tuesday in the Uzbek capital Tashkent, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said the pipeline will be built to "serve the growing export potential" of Uzbekistan and neighboring Turkmenistan. He added that the deal will be signed "in the near future.""

Energy-hungry China has also sought a cut of Turkmenistan s gas wealth, reaching a deal to build a natural gas pipeline that is to come on line in 2009."

Cheney Blasts "Illegitimate" Russian Moves

Is there a sane person anywhere in this world who doesn''t know that Cheney and his administration are the definition of greed, lies and fraud. It''s like a professional bank robber saying how wrong a petty thief is for stealing a pack of cigarettes.

Joe Biden, Barack Obama%u2019s vice-presidential running mate, has indicated that a new Democratic administration could pursue criminal charges against the Bush administration over the treatment of detainees in Guantanamo bay.

Three White House officials have been held in criminal contempt of Congress for refusing to respond to subpoenas. Former counsel Harriet Miers, former chief political adviser Karl Rove and current chief of staff Josh Bolten have all refused to appear.

HE HE HE Cheneys a hypocrit.

Russian moves and motives are not any less legitimate than what we did in Iraq.

Cheney quit spending taxpayers money over there come home and wait quietly until you are no longer in office.

It is a very good post. Even if Russia does anything US so over spent military personal resources wise and money wise, just cannot do anything. BP Exxon Mobil, Chevron, etc. all privately owned and protected by US military. Profits will go to these company coffers. In contrast Gazprom taken over by Russia and profits go government coffers. US military runs tax dollars to protect private profits, doing in a Republican way.
