Excellant move by the U.S. This is our ally, Georgia is our friend, the people of Georgia love the United States. This is the type of nation that we need to send aid to, NOT Egypt, NOT Saudi Arabia, NOT Nigeria,NOT Iraq, NOT Sudan. Finally we are giving aid to where aid is deserved. Georgia #1, President Mikhail Saakashvili #1.

Saudi is not in the list. They actually our main arms buyer. Georgia is not #1. With four billion, well to do Israel is #1

The Magic Printer Prints again for the Neo Cons.
And don''t forget you get the bill with interest.

This is how you devalue your currency and add inflation with Deflation = Hyper Inflation.

King George probably swallowed that ''end-times'' idiocy that Russia would start Armageddon, so he''s trying to provoke it into starting WWIII by getting in its face aka Georgia.

Why does George W. Bush continue to insist on ruining the United States? Why? We could use that billion to help drill or find and develop alternative energies, just like all the countless billions that have gone to a ridiculous war in Iraq. Oh, Social Security is faltering, but we have a blank checkbook for illegal and unwarranted wars???? What???

Not only does the middle class take care of the rich and the poor and the lazy in America, we''re taking care of the freakin WORLD, while our salaries and benefits keep getting cut, cut, cut.....

Isn''t it just so cool how a spoiled rich kid can be so willing to give away our money. A billion here a billion there. Billions for his silly crusades.

I don''t understand--if we owe China billions of dollars, how can we afford to give away a billion to Georgia?? This is stupid!

Ah yes. Those good ol'' "Cut and Spend" Conservatives at it again. Their aim seems to be to wreck the economy of country to the point that we revert to some sort of Dark Ages feudal system.

I hope that all future generations will remember what happens when you elect an ignorant, smirking, frat-boy to the White House (particularly when his sidekick VP makes Lucretia Borgia look like St. Thomas Aquinas).

In classic Republican fashion, that 1 billion dollars will be paid by the children or grandchildren (plus interest), so thats the same as FREE MONEY!!

Just add it to the other $5 trillion Bush has charged to the kiddies in just a few short years.

Do these guys still bother to call themselves ''fiscally responsible''?
