Too true. And christians have opened the doors for them. They have been pushing their "religious rights" into every public sector for quite a while, now. They cannot deny Muslims the same rights. Secularists, such me, can.

It has been a sore point with Muslims who insist their girls wear a burka. But for that matter it applies across the board to all religious articles, even Christian crosses."

That''s because Germans are far more practical and sane than Americans. And, yes--I''m an American.

Cheney HAS to get out of the United States as soon as he can. And he knows it. Otherwise, the Justice Department will come knocking on his door. Looks like Dubya may be leaving for Paraguay for the same reason.

Where would "religious rights" stop? Would it, next, be an outrage to not be allowed to wear a burka? At some point it has to stop. If you don''t like western ways, move!

Ammermantm. Get out of the United States and/or stay away from it.

Given the opportunity to escape justice, that Christian fundamentalist would kill you for violating its superstitions just as quickly as any other religious crackpot."

Right-on, lindh4! Remember that when you vote in ''08.

They will never evolve from their midieval society and the christian fundies want to push us into the same dark ages.

Soon as your airline leaves USA, the stewardess should hand out the laws of the country you''re headed to.

"No fornicating on the beach, no spitting, no chewing gum, put some clothes on your teenage daughter/s,
no talking to our women, posession of any non-prescription drugs will cause you to lose your head, etc, etc, etc."

Even the most progressive Gulf states are only pretending to be in order to attract tourist money and business.

The buildings may glitter, but the societies are repressive.
