Russians are sneaky, never trust them, never. I live in a former Soviet Bloc country, I know and like some Russians but, I trust none of them. Trust them at your own peril.

Unfortunately the USA did not follow through with the Afghanistan war on russia by educating the young warriors as to who supplied the weapons that led to the defeat of russia

You obviously are not smart enough to be in the USSR military service, if you were and old enough you would have already died in Afghanistan.

Here some titles from a book by JOHN ABERCROMBIE (19th century). PATRIOTISM is only fifth of AFFECTIONS. So let''s be moral beings and only AFTER that talking about patriotism or defending genocide perpetrated by Georgian president (cannot use a capital letter "P" in the latter word). And let''s give unbiased news to people without anti-Russian hysteria (and anti-American, of course):
THE AFFECTIONS
I. JUSTICE
1. Justice to the Interests of others--Integrity
2. Justice to the Freedom of Action of others
3. Justice to the Reputation of others
4. Justice in estimating the Conduct and Character of others
5. Justice to the Opinions of others--Candour
6. Justice to the Feelings of others
7. Justice to the Moral Condition of others
II. COMPASSION AND BENEVOLENCE
1. Benevolence towards the Distresses of others
2. Benevolence towards the Reputation of others
3. Benevolence towards the Character and Conduct of
others,--including Forgiveness of Injuries
4. Benevolence towards the Feelings of others
5. Benevolence towards improving the Moral Condition
of others
III. VERACITY
1. The Love of Truth, in the Reception of it
2. Veracity in delivering statements,--including Sincerity
3. Truth of Purpose, or Correct fulfilment of Promises
IV. FRIENDSHIP, LOVE, AND GRATITUDE
V. PATRIOTISM

You are either too young are too intellactually challenged to remember the failure of the wheat crop in russia and that the USA saved your countryman from starvation by supplying wheat at below market value (free).

Last intel I recieved shows the entire Russion fleet rusting tied up to piers, I guess mainly due to technological iferiority based on the loss of the submarine Kirsk.
