On 23 July 2008, President Bush Provoked this crisis with Russia by announcing the decision to place Missile-Defense systems in Eastern Europe in order to bring Fears into the Living Rooms of the world famous Idiot Americans. This is the only chance Republicans have to win the White House on November 2008.

Finally, we now know the ''October Surprise'' we all been anticipating from only Bush.

It is historical fact that Saddam Huessin killed over 50,000 of his own people with WMD. He was practicing their use to direct them elsewhere--probably the U.S.A. The inspectors didn''''t find any WMD because by the time they got there, they had been moved to Syria.

Saddam said in an interview after his capture he never had WMDs. It was all a ploy to intimidate and contain Iran.

American Useful Idiots (Lenin''s term, not mine) will have to hold themselves responsible for allowing themselves to be misled by people who benefit from death, destruction and catastrophe... Like the old song, "its interesting when people die, they leave dirty laundry". American media moguls have turned this country against its elected president (last time by a decent margin), making us unwitting allies to anyone who would decide to blame their greed for power and land on us. Good job, U.S. media, and good job, America in general. Your grandparents who fought in WWII and the ones who suffered shortages of everything from gasoline to household sugar to support our troops abroad and the president who, in accordance with congress'' wishes, sent them there, would be spinning in their graves right about now.

Shazam,

I always have to laugh at your posts because you obviously have no knowledge of what you are talking about. Are you writing from under rock in some third world country which can''''t quite get its head out of its rear end because the men tip themselves upside down five times a day to pray to their non existant Allah?

To be explicit, this was posted by me. I didn''t get all of Shazam''s previous post deleted.

MCvet-1, the "great majority of Americans" can be referred to as 67 percenters, they will bleieve anything, even something as simplistic and moronic as blaming ONE man for Islamic terrorism, natural disasters, Russia attacking free democracies, it makes no difference these idiots have dilluded themselves into believing one American can be reponsible for everything.

You Fascist are so unbelievable it''''s beyond the ability of a NORMAL person to understand.

You MCVet are so bitter and angry, I''m surprised you haven''t died of an aneurysm. You should chill out; you are not the only person who has served his/her country and if you were left wounded, you are not the only one who was left wounded. Why don''t you look around you and count your blessings and be grateful and happy for the good things you have in your life.

Putin''s men went into Georgia, ran their 40 year old tanks over people''s property and homes, made thousands homeless, raped the women, stole anything worth taking and it''s Goerge Bush''s fault? Get real! Putin did this, not George Bush.

THe socialist leftwingers in America taught Putin how to deflect blame by just critisizing Bush and America, then it''''s ok to do anything. Just blame Bush!

I hardly think you can call the GREAT Majority of American''s who KNOW Bush LIED them into a War as being "Socialist"! Fascist have been using that dodge as long as anyone can remember. I sat right there in front of my TV Set Sparky and HEARD, LISTENED, to him LIE to me. I was a Sgt in the United States Marines with One Year and 26 days in Combat for this nation and I''m calling you a FASCIST for even IMPLYING I''m a Socialist! Now GROW up, put your Country ahead of your PARTY and face the reality that NO ONE in this nation who isn''t hung up on the "Party" can believe ONE WORD George Bush says. Good Grief!! SIEG HEIL BUSH

Russian General Anatoly Nogovitsyn, deputy chief of the General Staff, said no new arms were tested during the war. Instead, the Russians used T-72 tanks fitted with explosive- reactive armor, BMP-1 and BMP-2 infantry vehicles, BTR-80 armored personnel carriers and MT-LB multipurpose tracked vehicles, said Jane''s Information Group, a defense intelligence service. It also used self-propelled guns and rocket-launchers.

Georgia suffered more troop casualties -- 215 killed and 1,200 wounded -- than Russia, with 64 killed and 323 wounded, according to figures from both governments.

The renewed strength allowed an estimated 10,000 troops to storm into Georgia almost unimpeded. Columns of troops and armaments rolled through South Ossetia, the pro-Moscow breakaway region that sparked the war after Georgia tried to retake it. Fighter jets bombed military bases as tanks ruined parts of the regional capital, Tskhinvali.

Stalin''s Birthplace

Within three days, Russia controlled a third of Georgia, including the port of Poti and the central city of Gori, birthplace of Soviet dictator Josef Stalin.

When British General Sir Michael Rose commanded United Nations forces protecting Bosnia in the mid-1990s, he gained first-hand knowledge of Russia''s army, which participated in the mission.

``They were worse than useless,'''' the 68-year-old retired officer said in an interview.

Not any more.

Okay, so maybe it backfired on Putin. Since he is not getting anyone else in the world to agree that what they did was okay, now he''ll try to say the U.S. is the demon. Sadly the Russian people will not hear any other version since they have effectively killed any dissenting journalists so they''ll believe it - along with the appeasers who reflexively blame the U.S. for everything anyway. And that garbage about Georgia started it is *** if people understand how long it takes to assemble tanks, troops and transport and miraculously show up on the other side of a mountain range to fight the next morning. Hmmm, if it was a miracle maybe Obama helped to make it so.
